Abstract: A bicycle driving device including a shaft rotatably mounted on a part of a body frame; two crank arms perpendicularly disposed at both ends of the shaft so as to be symmetrical with each other at 180° with respect to a center of the shaft as a base point; a pedal attached to a tip of the crank arm; a gear mounted at one end of the shaft, which is provided with a chain; and balance weights disposed in a predetermined plane parallel to a surface formed by a rotary motion of the crank arm for generating kinetic energy equivalent to the kinetic energy generated by rotary motion of the crank arm and the pedal, wherein each mount position of those balance weights is set to be adjustable in an arc with a predetermined radius with respect to an axial center of the shaft.
Abstract: [Object] To provide a full float type crankshaft device for bicycle which allows a sub-assembly formed by integrating crankshafts to be mounted on a body side. [Constitution] The crankshaft device includes a shaft 1 provided at a center of a cylindrical hanger member 9, having cranks attached to both end portions, which is configured to have bearings 3,3 provided at inner sides where the cranks are attached, a housing 2 configured at an outer diameter side of the shaft 1 to support the shaft 1 via the bearings 3, and clamp nuts 5 each with a cup-like shape as a whole, which are attached to both end portions of the housing 2 having O-rings 6 as rubber elastic elements interposed between both end portions.
Abstract: A hub device for a bicycle includes a hub case which is attached to a center of a wheel for receiving a load exerted from a rim to which a tire is fitted, and formed to have each inner diameter of both end portions larger than a diameter of a center portion, a sleeve with plural slits in a circumferential direction and a cylindrical shape integrally attached to the hub case at the inner diameter side, which serves to transfer the load exerted to the hub case to a shaft, a bearing for receiving the load exerted to the sleeve and rotatably supporting a whole structure of the wheel, a shaft for rotatably supporting the whole structure of the wheel via the bearing, and spherical washers attached to both end portions of the shaft.
