Abstract: For automobile drum brakes of the simplex and duo-duplex forms of construction, each having two brake shoes (10) floatingly mounted on a brake bracket (1), a special support is proposed for the one end of the brake shoe web (10) of each brake shoe (8), this support being constituted basically of a support pin (26) rotatable about its central axis, which possesses a recessed bearing surface, on which a corresponding counter-surface (35) of the brake shoe web (10) is slidably journalled. The new support makes possible the maintaining of a constant brake coefficient throughout the full range of wear of the brake lining (12).
Abstract: In a pane guiding system for an automobile sliding window, a central guide rail, to be fixed to the bodywork, is provided, on flanges of which a support plate, connected both to the window pane and also to the force-transmitting element of a window winder, is slidably guided by slide elements fixed on the support plate. For compensating the movement clearance resulting from wear on the slide tracks, the flanges of the guide rail are of resilient construction, so that they bear virtually without play against the associated guide surfaces of the slide elements even after fairly long periods in operation.
Abstract: In a wind deflector device at an automobile roof comprising a roof opening (2) closable by a sliding lid (6), a wind deflector (18) pivotally disposed along the forward edge of the roof opening and two restoring levers (23) are provided, which are each journalled at one end of the roof frame (3) and at the other end engage with the wind deflector, the wind deflector being capable of pivoting out under spring force when the sliding lid opens and capable of pivoting in by the running of components connected with the sliding lid onto the restoring levers when the sliding lid is closed.
Abstract: A sliding roof for automobiles, comprising a raisable lid associated with a roof opening, which lid is pivotally journalled in the region of its forward edge about a horizontal axis oriented transversely to the direction of travel, is supported slidably on lateral guide rails on the forward third of its length and thereby can be displaced partly over the rear, fixed roof surface in its raised position while maintaining its raised angle, a raising device consisting of a threaded telescopic device participating displacements being provided in the region of the support on each side of the lid, the threaded nut of which is connected rotationally locked with a pinion coaxial therewith, which is in engagement with a threaded cable, journalled displaceably in tension and compression transmitting manner, of a drive device.

Abstract: Modular case and frame sections for assembly into a self-supporting case and frame for lifting and/or sliding doors and/or windows, the case section being a hollow generally rectangular element having a pair of main chambers and a smaller chamber therebetween, first recess means on said element and guide means received therewithin. Said frame is defined by a pair of hollow side parts and a hollow bridging part, second and third recess means defined by said side and bridging parts, said second recess means being larger in cross section than the first recess means and capable of receiving connection means, closing means and carriage means therein.
Abstract: A honeycomb frame for a beehive is formed of a plurality of sectional members injection molded of a plastics material. Each sectional member consists of an elongated flat bar integrally secured to a right-angled corner part. One part of the corner part is aligned with a flat bar and the other part extends perpendicularly to the flat bar. The other part of the corner part includes a sleeve portion into which the end of another flat bar is inserted.
Abstract: A window winding apparatus for a window of a vehicle such as an automobile or the like wherein the window is slidable generally upwardly-downwardly in an opening or closing action and is divided approximately vertically into a viewing pane and a relatively smaller ventilating pane and the two panes are actuated by a common drive effecting, relative to movement of the viewing pane, advance motion of the ventilating pane during opening and delayed motion thereof during closing, the apparatus including an actuating device having a slotted guide tube with a flexible threaded cable slidably guided in the tube in a tension and compression transmitting relationship, with the cable being positively connected through the guide tube slot to the larger viewing pane in an arrangement whereby lost motion retains the viewing pane in its closed position during the initial sliding opening action of the ventilating pane, and means adapted to automatically couple the ventilating pane to the drive cable only for and during its
Abstract: The invention relates to a window regulator, especially for automobiles, in which the window is connected to a drive by a cable which can move axially in a tubular guide, a portion of this guide being parallel to the window travel and an adjacent portion being shaped in an arc, whereby the path of a catch connected to the cable and serving for connection with the window is not restricted solely to the portion of the tubular guide extending parallel to the window travel but also extends at least partly into the region of the arc, and whereby the connection between the catch and the window comprises a slide-guide extending transversely to the window path.
