  • Publication number: 20130220586
Abstract: The present invention discloses strengthened heat transmission tubes for falling film evaporators. The tube includes a tube body of the heat transmission tube and fins disposed on an outside surface of a heat transmission section of the tube body. The fins spirally surround the outside surface of the tube body of the heat transmission tube along an axial direction. The roots of the fins are integrally connected with the tube body. Each of the fins has a cross sectional T shape. Interspaces between two neighboring fins along the axial direction of the tube form small holes for coolants flow and evaporation, and form circular shape channels along the spiral direction. Each T shape fin has fin troughs along peripheral direction. The outer surfaces of the fins are disposed with grooves or extrusion lugs that guide coolants flow. Internal tube body is disposed with internal teeth.

  • Patent number: 7841391
Abstract: The present invention discloses a flooded type evaporating heat-exchange copper tube for an electrical refrigeration unit. The evaporating heat-exchange tube comprises a smooth surface portion, a finned portion provided with plurality of fins and a transitional portion connecting the smooth surface portion to the finned portion, with primary evaporating chambers defined between the fins. Fifth fins extending upwardly are provided on a bottom wall of the primary evaporating chamber, which divide the primary evaporating chamber into at least two minor cavities, and an evaporating opening is defined between adjacent fins of the primary evaporating chamber. Due to plurality of minor cavities arranged in the evaporating heat-exchange tube, refrigerant film is easy to form on bottom walls of the minor cavities, and nucleus boiling is easily to be developed. Thereafter, the refrigerant gets boiled and evaporated to form bubbles to escape via evaporating openings.

  • Publication number: 20100276039
Abstract: Copper alloys, methods for producing copper alloys, and copper tubes are provided. The copper alloys include an alpha solid solution formed from phosphorous deoxidized copper and at least one trace element comprising tin. The content of tin ranges from about 0.1% to about 2.0% by weight of the copper alloy. The trace element can further include zinc in an amount from about 0.05% to about 1.0% by weight of the copper alloy. The copper alloys have an increased tensile strength due to the strengthening effect by the alpha solid solution formed by phosphorous deoxidized copper and tin as the trace element, and accordingly a copper tube made from the copper alloy has a significantly improved pressure resistance.

  • Patent number: 7762318
Abstract: The present invention discloses a condensing heat-exchange copper tube for a flooded type electrical refrigeration unit, which comprises a smooth surface portion, a finned portion provided with plurality of fins and a transitional portion connecting the smooth surface portion to the finned portion. Said fin includes a fin base close to the outer surface of the heat-exchange tube and a fin top away from the outer surface. Said fin is further provided with a secondary fin at the central portion of the fin and a third fin at the top portion of the fin, wherein a certain distance is provided between two axially adjacent secondary fins or two axially adjacent third fins. Secondary fins as well as third fins according to the invention further increase the heat transfer area for the heat-exchange tube. Meanwhile, secondary fins and third fins help to attenuate the condensate film such that the condensate film is substantially eliminated, and vapor condensation and heat transfer may be carried out in a better way.
