Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for training a golfer and providing a Swingscore includes, tabulating a plurality of model player data sets for a plurality of clubs to create a tabulated plurality of model player sets. The method further including capturing a user player data set for a plurality of clubs. The method further including comparing the user player data set of the plurality of model player data sets. The method further including determining a Swingscore based on the comparison. In one configuration, the Swingscore is determined by comparing two positions of a set of ten positions of the user player data set to corresponding two positions of the tabulated plurality of model player data sets.
Abstract: A system for determining the trajectory of a sport object propelled via an implement using a single mobile device includes a single mobile device and a sensor in the single mobile device. The system further includes a swing radius module, the swing radius module calculating a swing radius of an implement swung by a user. The system further includes a notification module, the notification module providing a notification to the user that the swing radius is outside of a viewing frame of the sensor.
Abstract: A method for measuring spin of a golf ball includes obtaining at least two images of the golf ball after a golf club contacts the golf ball. The method also includes identifying the time span between the obtained at least two images to create a numerical time difference, defining an outline of the golf ball while the golf ball is in flight, finding at least one marking on the golf ball in each golf ball image, finding the rotations of the golf ball by aligning the at least one marking on the golf ball in each golf ball image, and converting the rotations of the golf ball into spin values by combining the rotations and the numerical time differences, wherein the spin values comprise at least a spin axis and a rotation angle. The spin values may then be displayed to a user.

Abstract: An analysis system and method for providing athletic training and instruction by sensing different types of information, such as video, positional information, weight transfer information etc and synchronizing the information. The synchronized information is replayed for the user in a manner that enables simultaneous viewing of an athletic motion along with calculations and presentation of analysis information related to the athletic motion.

Abstract: An analysis system and method for providing athletic training and instruction by sensing different types of information, such as video, positional information, weight transfer information during a training session and storing the information to a lesson file. The method and system displays video information simultaneously with positional measurement information related to that is synchronized with the video information. Additionally, the displays are controlled using a single control element, or group of control elements. Moreover, the fact as to whether the displayed information is synchronized is automatically detected so as to link corresponding control elements together.
