Abstract: An insulated screwdriver includes: an insulator, a first metal sleeve, a second metal sleeve, an insulated sleeve, and a handle. The insulator has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion. The first metal sleeve is disposed on the first connecting portion of the insulator. The second metal sleeve is disposed on the second connecting portion of the insulator, and the second metal sleeve and the first metal sleeve are insulated. The insulated sleeve covers the insulator, the first metal sleeve, and the second metal sleeve. The handle has an accommodating hole for accommodating the insulated sleeve. According to the insulated screwdriver of the present invention, because the first metal sleeve and the second metal sleeve are insulated, there is no electric shock danger for a user, and safety in use of the insulated screwdriver of the present invention may be improved.

The main body has an accommodating chamber therein and two ends defined as a fixing end and an open end. The fixing unit includes a shaft, a plug, an elastic member, and a fixing member. One end of the shaft has a plug hole. The plug is fixed in the plug hole. The elastic member is made of a metal material and has at least one elastic piece. The elastic member has a perforation. The fixing member is inserted through the perforation to fix the elastic member to the plug. The accommodating seat is fitted onto the fixing unit, and has at least one clamping groove, and is connected with a cap. An inner edge of the accommodating seat is annularly provided with an engaging portion.

The spacers each have a through hole. The through hole corresponds in shape to the radial section of the fixing shaft. The elastic member is disposed on the fixing shaft. A ratchet mechanism includes: a main body base having blocking portions; a ratchet elastic sheet having abutment portions corresponding to the blocking portions; two blocking sheets retained on the blocking portions and abutted the abutment portions to be positioned between the blocking and abutment portions; a pinion having a gear portion between the blocking sheets to allow the gear portion and the blocking sheets to be adjusted between engagement/disengagement states; a positioning elastic sheet having an operating portion; a ratchet direction adjuster having contact members corresponding to the blocking sheets and an operated portion corresponding to the operating portion. The operating portion operates the operated portion, the contact members contact the blocking sheets and the blocking sheets being operated by the contact members to be in disengagement state with the gear portion to adjust the rotational direction of the gear portion.
