Abstract: A two-way radio device for hearing protection devices provides communication capabilities to users wearing hearing protection devices, which would ordinarily hinder or block communication. The two-way radio device removably attaches to a portion of a hearing protection device and connects to the speakers thereof. One or more wireless transceivers provide wireless transmission of audio between users of hearing protection devices enhanced with the two-way radio device. Users remain protected by their hearing protection devices and while communicating freely in high decibel environments.

Abstract: A locking foldable knife with a locking assembly that reliably locks a blade in an extended position for use is disclosed. The locking assembly utilizes the surface area of a shaped peripheral edge at a second end of a blade, together with, confirming structures of a locking bar, and one or more stops to reliably lock a blade in an extended position. A locking assembly also locks a blade in a folded position in one or more embodiments of the locking foldable knife.

Abstract: A folding knife with replaceable blade is movable between an extended state, a hyperextended state, and a folded state. A blade mounted to a holding assembly is replaceable when the folding knife is in the hyperextended state. The blade comprises a catch that requires a particular alignment, provided by the hyperextended state, to be inserted and removed. In this manner, the blade may not be removed from the holding assembly while in the folded and extended states.

Abstract: An arrow rest with a decoupled launch assembly comprises a rest rotatably mounted to a shaft and coupled to the shaft via a biasing device. An actuator connects the shaft to a portion of a bow allowing movement of the bow to actuate the decoupled launch assembly between a raised state and dropped state by rotation of the shaft. The biasing device flexibly couples movement of the rest and shaft permitting the shaft to further rotate after a dropped state has been achieved.

Abstract: An axe head is attached to a handle in a manner that utilizes the inertia of the axe head to bear against a structure that resists separation of the axe head from the handle. In one example, that structure is a key that fits within the handle after the axe head is slid onto the handle, resisting passage of the axe head past the key. In another example, at least one end piece is joined to a narrowed, toothed section of the handle, forming an assembly with a friction fitted portion and an end portion with a diameter that exceeds the diameter of the hole in the axe head, retaining the axe head on the friction fitted portion of the handle assembly.

A support is movable in both a sliding and rotating motion via an articulating mount to transition between states. In the locked state, a support is seated within a socket of a base of the gun vise to rigidly hold the support in position. In the folded state, a support has a reduced vertical footprint, such as to facilitate storage and transport.

Abstract: A knife includes interchangeable blades that are secured within the handle using a locking mechanism having a lock pin disposed between the distal end of the lock bar and the blade. In addition to strengthening the lock, the lock pin also serves as a safety catch n the unlikely event of lock failure, resisting rotation of the blade into a position in which the user's fingers would be cut.

Abstract: A viewing device captures one or more images from a spotting scope. A communication device transmits the images to one or more remote display devices. A self-aligning mount allows the viewing device to be automatically aligned with an optical pathway of the spotting scope as it is attached thereto. An adjustment ring allows focusing adjustments to be made to the spotting scope, even after the viewing device is attached. With the viewing device, a user need not physically move to peer through the spotting scope, since images from the spotting scope may be remotely viewed at one or more remote display devices. In addition to spotting scopes, the viewing device may be used with other optical devices, such as binoculars, telescopes, rifle scopes, microscopes, and other optics.
