Patent number: 12100399Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for isolating at least one device, from multiple devices in an environment, for being responsive to assistant invocations (e.g., spoken assistant invocations). A process for isolating a device can be initialized in response to a single instance of a spoken utterance, of a user, that is detected by multiple devices. One or more of the multiple devices can be caused to query the user regarding identifying a device to be isolated for receiving subsequent commands. The user can identify the device to be isolated by, for example, describing a unique identifier for the device. Unique identifiers can be generated by each device of the multiple devices and/or by a remote server device. The unique identifiers can be presented graphically and/or audibly to the user, and user interface input. Any device that is not identified can become temporarily unresponsive to certain commands, such as spoken invocation commands.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2023Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: GOOGLE LLCInventors: Vikram Aggarwal, Moises Morgenstern Gali

Patent number: 12099925Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media related to training and/or utilizing a neural network model to determine, based on a sequence of sources that each have an electronic interaction with a given electronic resource, one or more subsequent source(s) for interaction with the given electronic resource. For example, source representations of those sources can be sequentially applied (in an order that conforms to the sequence) as input to a trained recurrent neural network model, and output generated over the trained recurrent neural network model based on the applied input. The generated output can indicate, for each of a plurality of additional sources, a probability that the additional source will subsequently (e.g., next) interact with the given electronic resource. Such probabilities indicated by the output can be utilized in performance of further electronic action(s) related to the given electronic resource.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2020Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: GOOGLE LLCInventors: Bryan Perozzi, Yingtao Tian

Patent number: 12101845Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses for handling radio resource control (RRC) cell group configuration. In implementations, a base station (120) receives a first radio resource control message that requests a connection procedure between a user equipment (110) and the base station (e.g., 325, 425, 1325), such as a radio resource control resume request or a radio resource setup request. In response to receiving the first radio resource control message, the base station (120) generates a second radio resource control message that includes a cell-group-configuration information element that excludes a reconfiguration-with-sync information element (e.g., 330, 430, 1330). The base station (120) then transmits the second radio resource control message to the user equipment (110) (e.g., 335, 435, 1345). Afterward, the base station (120) receives, from the user equipment (110), a third radio resource control message that indicates the connection procedure is complete (e.g., 340, 440, 1350).Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2022Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Chih-Hsiang Wu, Ching-Jung Hsieh

Publication number: 20240314875Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses for handling mobility management state transitions after fallback to radio resource control (RRC) establishment. In implementations, a user equipment UE transmits an RRC request to a network to initiate an RRC connection procedure. Afterward, the UE receives an RRC setup message from the network. The UE communicates, by an RRC protocol layer at the UE, an indication of the fallback to a fifth-generation mobility-management (5GMM) protocol layer at the UE. The UE then transitions the 5GMM protocol layer to a 5GMM idle state. In implementations, the UE then communicates, by the RRC protocol layer, an RRC connection-established indication to the 5GMM protocol layer, and transitions the 5GMM protocol layer to a 5GMM connected state to enable data transmission and reception with the network.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Applicant: Google LLCInventor: Chih-Hsiang Wu
