    Abstract: A warning system for notifying others that a cellular telephone is in use in a vehicle. The system includes a transmitter electrically coupled to a cellular telephone for transmitting an in-use signal when the telephone is activated. A receiver for receiving the in-use signal. An indicator, responsive to the receiver receiving the in-use signal, for visually indicating that a cellular telephone is in use in a vehicle.
