Abstract: Liquid pump (1) comprising: a cylinder (24), an inlet valve (47a) for feeding the liquid into said cylinder (24), a discharge valve (47b) for discharging the liquid out of said cylinder (24), a piston (52) actuated by a transmission tube (51) and sliding in said cylinder (24) so as to draw said liquid into said cylinder (24) and then to expel it from said cylinder (24). The cylinder (24) comprises at least one heating cartridge (41) in order to heat the liquid in said cylinder (24).

Abstract: An electromagnetic pump includes a coil configured to conduct an alternating current, a cylinder, and a piston assembly. The piston includes a cavity configured to receive fluid and an aperture defined in a first end thereof The piston is arranged within the cylinder to define an interface between the piston and the cylinder, and the piston is configured to move linearly between a first position and a second position within the cylinder. The piston is positioned in the electromagnetic pump such that it is within a magnetic field which is generated by the coil when the coil conducts a current.

The heating may be initiated before the introduction of the liquid into the cylinder, and interrupted before the full discharge of the liquid out of the cylinder.

Abstract: An electromagnetic pump includes a coil, a cylinder and piston assembly, a biasing mechanism biasing the piston towards a first position, a seal and a valve. The piston, having a cavity inside and an aperture in a first end, can move linearly between a first position and a second position within the cylinder. The piston is also positioned within a magnetic field the coil generates when it conducts a current, and the magnetic field can force the piston to move towards the second position. The valve includes a single cap that can move between a first position and a second position. When in its second position, the single cap allows fluid to pass through the aperture; and when in its first position, it is arranged to fluidly seal the aperture to prevent the flow of fluid from an outlet conduit to an interface between the piston and the cylinder.
