Abstract: A dispenser closure (10) for a container having a normally vertical axis and an off-center recess (14) in the top thereof wholly containing a laterally rotatable spout member (20) in its closed position. The spout member is adapted for rotation to an upwardly inclined open position projecting outwardly beyond the peripheral flange (11) of the closure.

Abstract: A trash container is disclosed comprising a receptacle base (4), a lid component (2), and a pair of handles (26) mounted to opposite sides of the receptacle. Each handle is pivotally mounted to a side of the receptacle base and provides integral eccentric cam lobes (38) which, as the handle is pivoted upward, rotate against the receptacle sidewalls into an upright locking position. Simultaneously, an outward projecting locking tooth from each handle penetrates a receptive groove in the container lid to secure the lid to the receptacle.

Abstract: A container filled with a freezable liquid for use in refrigerating or temporarily cooling purposes. The container of the invention is generally rectangular and has two plugs each on its face and one side. Opposite these plugs and in contra position to the plugs, on the back and other side of the container, are corresponding recesses. The recesses and plugs are formed in order that the plugs of one container fit into the recesses of a like container, thus allowing the containers to be fastened together. Thus, when filled with freezable liquid and frozen, two or more containers may be connected, at either their sides or face-to-back, to form blocks of frozen containers.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a combination air vent and ice screen for liquid containers. The invention comprises an insert which fits into a liquid beverage container through the opening of the lid and is positioned on the inside of the lid. The insert prevents ice cubes from blocking the flow of liquid by means of a screen at the bottom of the insert. The insert also introduces air into the container by means of a channel which extends along the container opening and laterally along the side of the container lid. When pouring liquid from the container, only liquid passes through the screen while at the same time air is allowed to enter the container through the aforedescribed opening.

Abstract: An insulated beverage container holder is the subject of the present invention. A cylinder support for receiving the container is provided with insulating material, such as rigid foam, or may be of double wall construction to provide thermal insulation. The top of the support is provided with an opening which is eccentric relative to the center of the support. A pivotal cap is received by the support and has an opening which overlies the first mentioned opening. The cap opening is also eccentric relative to the center of the support but is movable from a first position wherein the two openings are in concentric alignment to a non-aligned position. When the openings are aligned, a container may be inserted in the support. Preferably, the openings are large enough to accommodate beverage cans or other containers of different size.
