Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for managing emails in a computer network. According to various embodiments, a method includes receiving and duplicating an email using an email server in the computer network, and, using the email server, storing the duplicated email at a temporary email repository for subsequent retrieval. The method further includes retrieving the duplicated email from the temporary email repository, parsing the duplicated email into a plurality of fields, storing the parsed email in an archive data repository and causing the stored email to be indexed in the archive data repository using at least one of the plurality of fields.
