  • Patent number: 12280388
Abstract: A battery powered fluid sprayer includes a reciprocating positive displacement pump, a power supply that includes a battery, an electric motor, a motor controller, a user-adjustment mechanism for setting a user-adjustable pressure threshold corresponding to system fluid pressure of the battery powered fluid sprayer, a pressure switch, and a power controller. The pressure switch generates a pressure signal indicative of whether the system fluid pressure is greater than the user-adjustable pressure threshold. The power controller is configured to control power of the battery powered fluid sprayer by providing operating power of the motor controller in response to the pressure signal indicating that the system fluid pressure is less than the user-adjustable pressure threshold, and not providing the operating power of the motor controller in response to the pressure signal indicating that the system fluid pressure is greater than the user-adjustable pressure threshold.

  • Patent number: 12228117
Abstract: A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module. A control module is configured to monitor operation of the transfer pump and control pumping by the transfer pump. The control module is configured to receive dosing commands from a user interface, recall a dosing parameter based on the dosing command, and cause the drive module to operate the fluid module based on the dosing parameter to cause the transfer pump to output a set volume of material.

  • Patent number: 12229058
Abstract: A communication system for an industrial process includes multiple slave modules connected in series with a master controller. The master controller stores a communication schedule that defines an ordered sequence of messages and identifiers associated with each message. The master controller transmits messages downstream through the slave modules to a terminal one of the slave modules. The terminal slave module generates a return message that is transmitted upstream to the master controller. Each slave module receives each downstream message, identifies based on the message identifier whether the message is associated with response information from the slave module, and inserts the response information into corresponding upstream messages.

  • Patent number: 12215823
Abstract: A lubricant pump (14) and a method thereof are disclosed. The lubricant pump (14) includes a pump base (32) and a reservoir housing (30). The pump base (32) and the reservoir housing (30) define a lubricant reservoir for storing lubricant. One or more pump elements (34) extend at least partially into the lubricant reservoir. Heaters (36) are disposed on the pump base (32) proximate the pump elements (34). The heaters (36) are configured to heat the local area surrounding the pump elements (34), to thereby reduce the viscosity of the lubricant at the pump elements (34). The heaters (36) are electrically connected to a thermal switch (38) to control activation and deactivation of the heaters (36). With the lubricant pump (14) and the method thereof, the thermal switch (38) can control the heater (36) based on air temperature rather than the temperature of the lubricant, so the viscosity of lubricant is well controlled.
