Abstract: Equipment to automatically transfer a graphene monolayer deposited on a metal layer and protected with a polymer layer to a substrate, comprising at least one liquid inlet, at least one sensor to control the level and pH of the liquids, at least one liquid outlet to drain the liquids, a stirring element to homogenise the liquid mixture and a ramp to feed in the substrate and method to automatically transfer a graphene monolayer to a substrate, which uses said equipment.

Abstract: Devices and methods for determining the quality thin film materials are disclosed. The thin film materials are provided on substrates forming thin film material structures. The devices comprise a housing, a THz module with a THz source emitter and a THz detector, and a reflective base moveable relative to the THz module and configured to support the thin film material structures. The THz source emitter is configured to irradiate the thin film materials. The THz detector is configured to measure at least one reflection of the irradiation. The device is configured to calculate a parameter indicative of the quality of the thin film material based on said reflection measurements.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a graphene monolayer on insulating substrates from CVD graphene synthesis, comprising: applying a thermal release adhesive tape to the bottom graphene layer deposited at the bottom of the metal foil in the CVD graphene synthesis, detaching the thermal release adhesive tape and the bottom graphene layer from the metal foil via the application of heat, from 1° C. up to 5° C. higher than the release temperature of the thermal release adhesive tape so that the thermal release adhesive tape with the bottom graphene layer can be removed, obtaining a metal foil with a top graphene layer sample, and transferring the top graphene layer onto a substrate via a sacrificial protective layer.
