    Abstract: A levelling valve is provided for automatically keeping constant the vehicle height of a commercial vehicle with air suspension. The levelling valve comprises a spring loaded double valve body (17), an inlet seat (18), a hollow control rod (20) having an outlet seat (19) for the double valve body (17) and movable toward sealed engagement with the double valve body (17), an actuation drive (6) having a guiding member (27) and an eccentric follower (10) responsive to the change in vehicle height for moving the control rod (20) towards or away from sealing engagement with the double valve body (17). A first vehicle height according to a closing position may be controlled by the actuation drive (6). A control piston (28) is located in a control chamber (31) in alignment with the axis (3) of the control rod (20) and is provided for the attainment for setting of a second vehicle height. The control chamber (31) is located in the guiding member (27) of the actuation drive (6).

    Abstract: A leveling valve, having a precision adjustment device, for use with the suspension system of a motor vehicle. The leveling valve includes a valve housing and an inlet-outlet valve positioned within the valve housing for directing pressurized fluid from a fluid reservoir through the valve housing to a fluid suspension bellows, the inlet-outlet valve being moveable from an open position into a closed position. An elongated control rod is positioned within the valve housing and sealed therein, one of the ends of the control rod being connected to the inlet-outlet valve, and the other of the ends of the control rod having a cam follower formed as a part thereof. The precision adjustment device includes a housing branch formed as a part of the valve housing, in which an elongated shaft formed about an axis and extending radially away from the control rod to outside of the housing branch is fitted.

An electronic control unit opens and closes the outlet valve. The air chamber also has an air chamber check valve and a pressure sensor downstream of the check valve.

    Abstract: An operating brake valve for an electrically and pneumatically actuated braking system in a motor vehicle has a movable thrust piece (2) arranged within a housing (1) and a balance piston (4) actuated via a graduated spring (3), whereby a combined inlet/exhaust valve (7, 9, 10) is arranged downstream of the balanced piston. A position sensor (20) is provided which can be actuated via a push rod (17) connected to the thrust piece (2). A stop valve (29) is located in the connecting line (26) to the reservoir (12) or in the control line (15) coming from the balance chamber, whereby an electrically controlled solenoid valve (40) is provided for actuating the stop valve and, in the nonexcited state, for relieving the valve body of the stop valve (29) opposite to its closing direction.

There is at least one port 6, provided on the housing 2, for a line 7 leading to an air suspension bellows 8 and a port 3 for a storage line 4 leading to the inlet valve 22, 24. The level control valve 1 has a shutoff and outlet valve 36, which can be controlled arbitrarily and independently of the adjustment drive and is of large cross-section, for the rapid lowering of the vehicle structure.

The hollow double-valve body (24) has a connection piece (21) located on the end face and intended for the control line (20) brought up from the levelling valve (18).
