Abstract: The control arrangement is equipped with a compressed air source, at least one leveling valve (15), with air suspension bellows (24) assigned to at least one vehicle axle, a switching valve (8) and an electric switch (1), which permits controlling the positions Stop, Raise, Lower and Drive. The switching valve (8) is electrically driven by two solenoid valves (6 and 7) and connects or interrupts the different pneumatic lines as is common in the art. With a no-pressurized switching valve (8) and/or non-energized solenoid valves (6, 7), however, the respective pneumatic lines (17, 18) from the switching valve (8) to the leveling valve (15) on the one hand and to the air suspension bellows (24) on the other hand are closed off. The positions Raise, Lower and Drive are assigned to the three activated positions of the two solenoid valves (6, 7).
Abstract: The leveling valve for air-suspended vehicles is equipped with an intake valve (7,11) located between a connection (2) for a compressed air source and a connection (30) for a switching load valve (32), a discharge valve (7, 25) located between the connection (30) for the switching load valve (32) and a connection to atmosphere. It further comprises a control handle (29) which is turnable dependent on the distance between the vehicle frame and the corresponding vehicle axle and a non-return valve (35) which can also be controlled by the control handle (29) which is placed in series with and ahead of the air suspension bellows (40) and which interrupts further supply of compressed air to the air suspension bellows (40) in the Raise position of the switching load valve (32). The axis of the non-return valve (35) is provided in alignment with the axis of the leveling valve on the other side of the axis of the control handle (29).
Abstract: An arrangement for locking a freight container to a wheeled base in which spring-loaded clamping bolts are located on the base and engage brackets on the freight container with both form and force linkage. Each of the clamping bolts is provided with a locking head and is changeable from a clamping position to a release position by a rotary lifting motion with the use of a grooved curve guide. A pressure-charged spring-loaded piston is rotatable relative to a clamping bolt so that the clamping bolt is axially displaceable on the piston. The grooved curve guide is located between the clamping bolt and the piston, and two opposite power sources apply the relative motion of the clamping bolt and the piston along the grooved curve guide.
Abstract: A compressed air supply system, including a compressor and a pressure regulator, is coupled to a multi-circuit brake valve. Each circuit of this multi-circuit brake valve includes a double valve and an associated safety valve positioned in coaxial relationship therewith. The safety valves are each coupled to an associated supply tank and are coupled in common to the compressed air supply system by a spring-loaded needle valve.
Abstract: A change-over valve including a housing and a slide sealingly guided therein is provided for use with a two-line trailer brake system having two brake circuits. The slide is retained in a normal position, at which supply tubes leading to compressed air supply tanks for the brake circuits are closed, by a piston loaded with compressed air from a supply tube, but is manually movable to a maneuvering position, at which the brakes of the system are released. The slide is provided with two channels and two associated check valves arranged so that when the slide is in the normal position it closes the supply tubes leading to the compressed air supply tanks for the brake circuits and so that when the slide is in the maneuvering position it connects those supply tubes via its channels and the associated check valves to a common space, which is connected to one or more emergency brake chambers for emergency brake pistons of the trailer brake system.
