Abstract: A device for reproducing handwriting, comprising handwriting acquisition means. When a user writes on the handwriting acquisition means with a writing means, a handwriting trace is recorded in the form of a digital trace. The writing means is provided with a tip, a writing tablet has a frame and an active surface which is disposed in the frame and which records the handwriting trace in the form of a digital trace, at least one sheet reacting locally to pressure from the tip, and means for maintaining the sheet in position against the active surface. The device includes processing means to subject the digital trace to at least one processing operation to obtain a transformed trace and writing restitution means having an apparatus provided with a marking tool and configured to restitute the set of data processed by the processing means by marking the transformed trace on a substrate.
