Abstract: In general, in an aspect, embodiments of the invention can provide, a semi- or fully-automatic computer-implemented method for personalized electronic education of a student, the method including, performing a computerized assessment of the student, using a knowledge assessment module, to determine a knowledge deficit of the student associated with at least one concept, defining a learning profile for the student using a learning profile generation module, receiving, at a server module, a computerized explanation submission based on the learning profile, evaluating, using an explanation submission evaluation module of the server module, the received explanation submission based on an understanding of the concept by the student after presentation to the student of the explanation submission, and rating, using the explanation submission evaluation module, the explanation submission based on the evaluation.
