Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods for quilting are provided. In an illustrative embodiment, a quilt support includes a platform adapted to support an embroidery machine capable of quilting a quilt sandwich. A first support arm is coupled to the platform. The first support arm is adapted to support a portion of the quilt sandwich. A second support arm is coupled to the platform. The second support arm is offset from the first support arm and adapted to support a portion of the quilt sandwich. Apparatuses, systems and methods are provided.

Abstract: Systems and methods for removing tangled thread are provided. In one embodiment, an apparatus for removing tangled thread includes a thread grasper usable to grasp on to tangled thread. The thread grasper includes a handle portion and a grasping portion. The apparatus also includes a thread cutter usable to cut the tangled thread grasped by the thread grasper. The thread cutter includes a handle portion and a blade.

Abstract: Hoop docking apparatuses and methods are provided. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a substantially planar hoop dock having a first side and a second, opposite side. The first side of the hoop dock forms a docking recess shaped to approximately contour a portion of an embroidery hoop. The docking recess is operable to receive at least a portion of the embroidery hoop.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved method and computer program product for quilting and embroidering fabric. The method comprises securing a quilt sandwich of top layer fabric, batting and backing fabric in an embroidery hoop and attaching said embroidery hoop to an embroidery machine. The user retrieves a digitized embroidery file that is fed into the embroidery machine. The digitized file instructs the embroidery machine to stitch the quilt layers together according to a predetermined stippling pattern and to stitch an outline for an appliqué. After an appliqué fabric is placed over the outline, the digitized file sews a tackdown stitch, after which appliqué enhancements or additional layers of appliqué may also be stitched. The quilt is then removed from the embroidery hoop and the appliqué and quilt are trimmed.

Abstract: A placement holder for an embroiderable comprising a magnetic hoop assembly for use in an embroidery machine. The magnetic hoop assembly includes a first hoop comprising a magnetic material and a second hoop comprising a quantity of metal sufficient for the first hoop to be attracted to the second hoop. The magnetic attraction between the first hoop and the second hoop enables the embroiderable to be held in place between the first hoop and the second hoop for embroidery. An adapter is attached to either the first hoop or second hoop. One end of the adapter is attached to the first hoop or second hoop, and the other end of the adapter attaches to an attachment mechanism on a pantograph on the embroidery machine.

The apparatus includes a support bar. The support bar is coupled to the embroidery machine. The apparatus also includes a set of acceptors. The set of acceptors are attached to the support bar. The apparatus also includes an embroidery accessory. The embroidery accessory includes a set of attachment adapters. The set of attachment adapters are adapted to be coupled to the set of acceptors.
