Abstract: A cable connecting device has a housing and an electrically conductive bypass element; a first electrical line, which has an internal current-carrying core and an insulating covering, is routable through the housing of the cable connecting device via the bypass element in that the line can be inserted into at least one first recess of the bypass element, with the size of the first recess corresponding to or being slightly smaller than the diameter of the current-carrying core of the electrical line, and the bypass element has at least one second recess for at least one second electrical line, which has an internal current-carrying core and an insulating covering, with the size of the second recess being adapted to or slightly smaller than the cross-section of the current-carrying core of the second electrical line.
