Abstract: A current or voltage sensor for use with a busbar has a support body having a proximal end juxtaposed with the busbar and a distal end spaced therefrom and a U-shaped conducting bar in the proximal end and having a pair of arms having free ends transversely engaging the busbar. A Rogowski coil in the proximal end is juxtaposed with the U-shaped conducting bar. A grounded screening element at the distal end is conductive and forms a chamber open toward the U-shape conducting bar. A source electrode has a proximal end engaging the U-shaped conducting bar outside the first chamber and a distal end in the chamber. An electrical field sensor in the first chamber is juxtaposed with the distal end of the source electrode.
Abstract: A presentable voltage sensor includes an electrode faced by an electric field probe and connected to a voltage source; a screening conductive shell wrapping the probe and connected to a reference potential; a dielectric material housed within the shell and interposed between the probe and the electrode; a conditioning circuit connected to an exit of the sensor and having a resistor of resistance Rm interposed between the probe and a second reference potential; and an integrator circuit formed from an RC network and having a resistor of resistance Ri, a capacitor of capacitance Ci, and a loss factor which, at a frequency of interest, is of an order of 10?4.
Abstract: A capacitive sensor for detecting an electrical field generated by a live conductor comprises a source electrode (10), a screen element (20) and an electrical field sensor (30). Said source electrode (10) has a proximal portion (11) connected to the conductor (A) and a distal portion (12) placed inside the screen element (20). The electrical field sensor (30) is placed inside said screen element (20), and faces and is spaced apart from the distal portion (12) of said source electrode (10), in order to detect the electrical field emitted by said source electrode (10).
