  • Patent number: 6672340
Abstract: A method for filling a vehicle fuel tank with a gas is provided, in which the vehicle fuel tank (31) is connected to a delivery device (2) by a pressure-tight line (10) and the gas stored under pressure is filled into the vehicle fuel tank (31) from a storage unit (3) by means of the delivery device (2). The method comprises the following steps: the instantaneous value of a parameter, which is representative of the instantaneous level of filling of the vehicle fuel tank (31), is determined during filling with the aid of a sensor apparatus (32, 33) arranged in the vehicle fuel tank (31) the filling is ended when the parameter has reached a pre-settable end value.

  • Patent number: 6450217
Abstract: A switch-over device for a filling station has at least a first and a second input (21 and 22 respectively) for a fluid which is under pressure, and an outlet (9) for the fluid and flow connections (19, 29) via which each input (21, 22) can be connected to the outlet (9). A switch-over valve (42) which has a valve body (421), which can be actuated by the fluid and which in its closure position closes the flow connection (29) between the second input (22) and the outlet (9), is provided in the flow connection (29) between the second input (22) and the outlet (9). Control connections (142, 942) for the fluid are arranged in such a manner that the valve body (421) of the switch-over valve (42) is acted upon on the one side by the pressure of the fluid at the first input (22) and on the other side by the pressure of the fluid at the outlet (9).

  • Patent number: 6341620
Abstract: A pressure limiting valve includes an inlet and an outlet for a fluid, which includes a valve body which cooperates with a valve seat in such a manner that it opens or closes a flow connection for the fluid between the inlet and the outlet when a limiting pressure is reached. The valve also includes a spring element which acts on the valve body and loads the latter. A container for a liquid is provided which is arranged and designed in such a manner that through its thermal expansion, the liquid varies the loading of the valve body which is caused by the spring element, and thus varies the limiting pressure in dependence on the temperature of the liquid.

  • Patent number: 6293764
Abstract: The compressor contains at least one piston (5) guided in a dry-running manner which, together with a cylinder insert (33), bounds a ring gap which is open over the common longitudinal section in each case and permits a leakage flow of the compressed medium. The piston (5) is coupled via a piston rod (42) to a support part (38) which is displaceably guided in the direction of its longitudinal axis (6) and is connected to a drive device. The piston rod (42) cooperates with the piston (5) and the support part (38) via support surfaces (43) which are convex at the end faces and permit relative movements of the support part (38) with respect to the piston (5) which extend transversely to the longitudinal axis (6). Accordingly, a parallel guidance of the piston (5) in the cylinder insert (33) is achieved which is not influenced by oscillations of the driving parts.
