Abstract: A masticating juicer includes an auger configured to rotate within a drum to perform a masticating process with respect to at least one food item introduced into the masticating juicer with the masticating process producing a juice and a pulp. An end cap is coupled to an end of the drum and is adjustable relative to the drum with respect to an axial direction of the auger. The end cap includes a flexible ring disposed adjacent an end of the auger formed from a resiliently flexible material configured to flex in reaction to the pulp applying pressure to the flexible ring. The flexing of the flexible ring increases a cross-sectional flow area between the auger and the flexible ring to accommodate a back pressure generated by the pulp.

Abstract: A blender for blending food products includes a vessel configured for containing the food products and a cutter blade base having a cutter blade assembly. The cutter blade base releasably coupled to and cooperating with the vessel to seal the food products within the vessel and blend the food products. The cutter blade assembly is driven by a drive device. A pressure minimizing device prevents an overaccumulation of pressure within the vessel as the food products are blended therein.

Abstract: A popping and mixing device includes a popping chamber for receiving popcorn kernels and converting the same into popped popcorn kernels. A mixing container receives the popped popcorn kernels from the popping chamber. A mixing motor in mechanical communication with the mixing container configured for rotating the popcorn mixing container.

Abstract: The popcorn popper has an on-board storage compartment for storing un-popped kernels of corn. The un-popped kernels of corn may be directed from the storage compartment to cooking surfaces via a dispenser. The dispenser provides a desired serving size of kernels and includes a mechanism to prevent overfeeding of the popper.

Abstract: A hot pot has a body with an open top and an outward rim around a periphery adjacent to a bottom of the body. A heating element support supports a heating element and extends across the bottom of the body to define a liquid-receiving volume for the hot pot. The hot pot has a base with a side wall and a bottom panel extending across the sidewall. The side wall and bottom panel define a hollow interior for the base. The side wall has an outward lip extending around the side wall opposite the bottom panel. The side wall lip abuts the body outwardly extending rim. The hot pot further has a security ring extending around the side wall lip and the body outward rim. The security ring is fixed to the hot pot in such a way as to destroy structural integrity of the hot pot upon its removal.

Abstract: A popcorn popping unit has a heating element and a blower fan, and a cooking surface adapted to receive kernels of corn. The popping unit is configurable for two flow paths of pressurized air through the popping unit. In the first path, pressurized air is configured to flow over the heating element, flow over the cooking surface, cook the kernels of corn, and move the cooked kernels of corn to a serving dispenser. In a second path, pressurized air is configured to flow over the cooking surface, and move un-popped seeds into a seed collection bin.

Abstract: A horizontal juicer for extracting juice from a food includes a base housing a motor and an extracting unit. The extracting unit is disposed adjacent the base. The horizontal juice includes a compression chamber having at least one first strainer disposed at a first end of the compression chamber, at least one second strainer disposed at a second end of the compression chamber. An intermediate portion is disposed between the at least one first strainer and the at least one second strainer. An auger is disposed in the compression chamber. The auger has a blade disposed spirally around a first end of the auger and a plurality of ribs disposed at a second end of the auger.

Abstract: A vertical juicer adapted to extract juice from a food including a bowl and a motor connected to the bowl. The vertical juicer also has a filter disposed in the bowl, an auger disposed in the filter, and a brush disposed between the bowl and the filter. A gear system includes a first gear disposed on the auger and a second gear disposed on the brush. Actuation of the auger by the motor causes the auger and first gear to rotate, and rotation of the first gear causes the second gear to rotate. Rotation of the second gear causes the brush to rotate around the filter and remove a food residue from the filter.
