Abstract: A complete logistics and transportation management system, with a number of integrated software and hardware components integrated to provide a total system for scheduling transportation assets. A method for tracking an asset includes adding at least one asset to a computer system having a web-accessible graphical user interface; adding properties to the asset in the computer system via at least one of a mobile or handheld computer or the graphical user interface; and displaying a searchable asset list in the graphical user interface, along with the quantity of each asset, location of each asset, and at least one picture of each asset.
