Abstract: A system comprises a structure for removably attaching one or more holders for plants and the like, and at least one such holder. The structure comprises a plurality of horizontal supports; and a holder comprises a front part, a rear part connected to the front part and having a linear extension at a top side, and a bottom part for supporting the holder, located between the front and the rear parts. When the holder is attached to the structure, a first horizontal support is located between the front part and the linear extension and the centre of mass of the holder is at a distance in front of a plane formed by the plurality of horizontal supports, so that gravity pulling on the holder will make the linear extension engage with the first horizontal support of the structure and the bottom part engage with a second horizontal support.
