Abstract: The invention relates to a climbing aid for ladders or the like, comprising an endless traction means running between guide pulleys, from which a person may optionally hang by means of a suspension device, with a drive device (20) comprising a drive motor (21), by means of which one of the guide pulleys may be driven as the drive disc (12) for the drive means (13), with a traction force limitation device and with a device for switching the drive device on/off, which can be actuated by the endless traction means (13).
Abstract: The invention relates to a traction sheave hoist for a platform operated by at least two ropes 5, having a traction sheave 13 that can be driven by a motor, at least a first rope groove and a second rope groove 17 being formed around the traction sheave circumference, and a first hold-down system for the first rope groove and a second hold-down system 20 for the second rope groove 17 with which the ropes wrapping around the traction sheave 13 are pressed into the corresponding rope grooves 17 during operation. In order to be able to ensure the horizontal alignment of the platform at all times, an adjustment device 30 is assigned to at least one of the hold-down systems 20 with which the position or engagement depth of the rope 5 in the rope groove 17 achieved with the corresponding hold-down system 20 can be controllably varied.
Abstract: Apparatus is described for pulling on a line, such as a wire cable. The apparatus has a driving pulley with a circumferential groove in which a loop of the load run of the line is held. A pressure application unit is provided to press the line into the line groove towards the end of the loop. This unit has a guide piece around which a chain runs, with a running surface shaped to run parallel to the line groove which it opposes. Means are provided to press the guide unit and chain bodily onto the edge of the driving pulley, so that pressure elements spread along the chain press on the line loop. The pressure elements roll on rollers along the guide unit running surface, which is at least as long as two pressure elements so as to provide an even force on the line.
Abstract: Rope hoist apparatus comprising a single driven drive pulley (15) in which the rope (11) is pressed by a spring-loaded lever (32) by two pressure rollers (29 and 30) into the rope groove (19). The pressure rollers (29 and 30) are so arranged that the rope tip (41) of the rope (11) can easily be pushed beneath the pressure rollers (29 and 30). The rope (11) is conducted after being lifted out of the rope groove (19) via a lateral ramp (60) onto a running face (21) of the drive pulley (15) which is disposed adjacent the rope groove (19) and over which the slack run (13) is conducted in a manner preventing damage parallel to the load run (12).
