Abstract: A self-service terminal service contingency method and a site server are provided. The method includes: acquiring self-service services corresponding to a self-service terminal under a self-service site; detecting whether a service is lacked among the self-service services, and if yes, acquiring resources and/or components required by the lacked service, of the self-service terminal; detecting whether the self-service site has the resources and/or components required by the lacked service, of the self-service terminal, and if yes, integrating the resources and/or the components under the self-service network according to a preset combination rule; and driving the integrated resources and/or the components to cooperate with each other according to a preset optimization rule, so as to enable the self-service site to provide a self-service service corresponding to the lacked service.

Abstract: A device for detecting a thickness of a sheet medium is provided, the device is used to improve the sensitivity of the entire sheet medium thickness detection device while eliminating the zero voltage impact by disposing, before an A/D converter, an appropriately amplified subtraction amplification unit used for eliminating the zero voltage impact of thickness voltage. The sheet medium thickness detection device includes a thickness sensor, a position voltage conversion unit, an A/D converter and a control processor which are sequentially connected, and further includes a medium position detection unit, a timer unit, a D/A converter and a subtraction amplification unit. The medium position detecting unit is connected to the control processor and is used to detect whether a detected medium passes through, and the timer unit is connected to the control processor.

Abstract: A method and system for self-service equipment outputting and collecting money. A money box of self-service equipment is provided with two money box statuses which are a functional status and a collecting status. Under the functional status, the money box implements a money storage function used generally in a common situation. When a collecting box is full or in an abnormal status, some money box is chosen and set to switch from the functional status into the collecting status and to act as a temporary collecting box. So the technical problem that the self-service equipment cannot continuously provide cash services when the collecting box or a box for cash no longer fit for circulation is full is solved, the self-service equipment can continuously provide the cash service, that is, money depositing and withdrawing service, under the condition that the collecting box is full, and the starting-up rate of the self-service equipment is improved.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a magnetic signal of paper money. By using detecting a magnetic track and repairing an abnormal magnetic track, the detection method solves the phenomenon of the abnormal magnetic track, and greatly improves the recognition accuracy rate and the receiving rate of a paper money recognition apparatus. The detection method comprises: S1: acquiring original data of a paper money magnetic signal; S2: performing abnormal magnetic track detection on the original data to obtain a detection result; S3: if the detection result is an abnormal magnetic track, performing step S4 and step S5, otherwise, performing step S6; S4: repairing the original data according to a preset repair rule to obtain repaired data; S5: comparing the repaired data with a preset standard value to obtain a recognition result; and S6: comparing the original data with the preset standard value to obtain a recognition result.

Abstract: A sheet-like medium temporary storage device includes a storage coiling block, configured to reel up and store sheet-like medium and being a circular roller with a cavity at the center; a thin coiling tape, having one end fixedly connected to an outer surface of the storage coiling block and configured to reel up the sheet-like medium and wind the sheet-like medium around the storage coiling block; a recycling coiling block, configured to reel up and recycle the thin coiling tape, wherein another end of the thin coiling tape is fixed to an outer surface of the recycling coiling block; and a power motor arranged in the cavity and configured to drive the storage coiling block to rotate and control the recycling coiling block to rotate. One end of the cavity is opened, and at least two air disturbance vanes are uniformly arranged at another end of the cavity.

Abstract: A thickness detection device, which is used for avoiding the condition where abnormal features, such as foreign matter and damaged apertures, pass through a gap, so that the thickness detection device does not have a detection blind area. The thickness detection device comprises: a plurality of thickness sensors (1101, 1102, 1103 . . . 1111, 1112) which are divided into two rows, i.e. a front row and a rear row in the advance direction of a slice medium, wherein an interlaced distribution is formed between the two rows of thickness sensors (1101, 1102, 1103 . . . 1111, 1112), so that any point on the slice medium passes through the sensing coverage range of the thickness sensors (1101, 1102, 1103 . . . 1111, 1112) in the advance direction.

Abstract: An adaptive scanning device, used to meet requirements for scanning and recognizing different scanned media and to save time and scanning costs. The adaptive scanning device in an embodiment of the present invention includes: a left side plate, a right side plate, an extension spring, an upper floating channel assembly, an image scanning tube B, a lower channel plate, a card information reading assembly, a document information reading assembly, friction wheels and a shaft sleeve. Abstract: A system and a method for handling card detainment in a self-service terminal are provided. The system for handling of card detainment in a self-service terminal includes a card detainment handling server, a first self-service terminal and a second self-service terminal, which are communicatively interconnected. The card detainment handling server includes a card detainment information storage module for storing information related to a detained card. The card detainment handling server is also communicatively connected with a bank backend database, i.e. a bank business system, in order to obtain the account information of the detained card and the identity information of the user owning the detained card from the bank backend database and help a card detainment information and identity authentication module authenticate the validity of the card detainment information and the user identity.

Abstract: A complex background-oriented optical character recognition method and device are provided. The method of the present invention includes: collecting image information to obtain a collected image; according to character characteristics, acquiring a target character region from the collected image, and taking same as a target object; extracting character edge information in the target object using a differential method to obtain an extracted image; superposing the target object and the extracted image to obtain a recovery image; conducting inversion and Gaussian filtration processing on the recovery image to obtain a processed image; searching for a target character location in the processed image; and recognizing the target character location. On this basis, accurate and quick locating and recognition of characters can be realized on the basis of effectively suppressing background noise and highlighting character information.

Abstract: A card substitution prevention method for a self-service terminal includes performing, by a card feeding portion of the self-service terminal, an alteration operation in the case that a card exists in a card reader of the self-service terminal, to make the card feeding portion unable to receive another card and prevent the another card from being placed in the card feeding portion. Also provided is a card substitution prevention apparatus for a self-service terminal. The method can effectively protect a card of a customer and prevent the card of the customer from being stealthily substituted, thereby improving service quality of a self-service terminal and maintaining trade credit of a merchant.

Abstract: A banknote dispensing/receiving mechanism of a banknote processing device includes a housing and a baffle, the baffle is an elastic retaining piece, the elastic retaining piece has one end fixed with respect to the housing and another end being a free end, and the elastic retaining piece is located in the discharging route of banknotes. When the banknote dispensing/receiving mechanism operates, after the banknotes being discharged by a banknote-dispensing conveying mechanism, the banknotes fall onto the elastic retaining piece, and the elastic retaining piece provides a supporting force for the banknotes. When all the banknotes are discharged, the banknotes are pushed by a banknote pushing plate to apply a pushing force to the elastic retaining piece, and at this moment the elastic retaining piece generates a plastics deformation, which makes the banknotes and the banknote pushing plate pass through the elastic retaining piece together, to further perform subsequent operations.

The self-locking mechanism includes an electromagnet, a first spring, a second spring, a first locking rod, a second locking rod and a pull rod. The upper end of the pull rod is installed to the electromagnet in a paired mode, and the lower end of the pull rod is movably connected with the first locking rod. The portable drum-type banknote box has a small size and light weight, is convenient to assemble/disassemble and move and is capable of performing audit work on multiple ATMs; and achieves a locking function so as to effectively prevent the banknotes from being exposed and rolled out by human.

The separating apparatus allows for automatic adjustment of the meshing clearance between the reversal roller and the separation roller on the basis of the thickness of sheet-type media to be separated, thus effectively solving the problem of the sheet-type media being jammed or torn.
