  • Patent number: 11684008
Abstract: The invention relates to a root crop harvester in the form of a potato harvester (1), comprising a lifting device (2), from which a crop material (E) and also a mixture (G) comprising clods, weeds and similar admixtures (B) can be displaced in the region of screen belts (3) which are arranged downstream thereof. According to the invention, the mixture (G) lying on one of the feed belts (4) reaches a sorting zone, where the crop material (E) is sorted by means of a separating device (6) that is arranged above the feed belt (4) and is acting on the mixture (G) transversely to the direction of feed of the feed belt, in such a manner that two scraper belts (8, 9), which are circulating in the same direction in a scraping direction (7, 7?), capture the crop material (E) by means of respective scraper elements (10, 10; 11, 11?), and feed said crop material in two adjacently arranged scraping planes (12, 13) to a sorting belt (14) that is arranged downstream thereof.

  • Patent number: 11627697
Abstract: A potato harvesting machine has a lifting device picking up a mixture of crop and admixtures. Screening belts downstream of the lifting device transport the mixture away from the lifting device and a feed belt feeds the mixture to a sorting zone. A separating device is arranged in the sorting zone above the feed belt. A sorting belt is arranged downstream of the separating device that has first and second stripper belts circulating in a stripping direction and provided with stripper elements. The stripper elements act on the crop transverse to a feed direction and supply the crop to the sorting belt. The admixtures remain on the feed belt and are discharged in a guiding direction angled to the stripping direction. First and second support devices hold the first and second stripper belts. The first and second stripper belts are individually adjustable at the first and second support devices.

  • Publication number: 20210251135
Abstract: A screening belt unit is provided for a harvesting machine or harvested material transportation device and for screening extraneous material out of a mixture of harvested material and extraneous material. A screening belt has at least two endless carriers, preferably in the form of carrier belts or chains, between which screening bars are arranged in a direction transversely to the conveying direction. The screening bars form a plurality of screening bar units that comprise in each case at least two screening bars. At least a part of the screening bars is fixed so as to be movable relative to the endless carriers. The screening belt unit has a positioning means arranged at least locally along the screening belt and acts on the movable screening bars and via which, in the screening zone S as seen in the screening direction, a spacing A in the conveying direction F of successive screening bars is defined.

  • Patent number: 10039227
Abstract: A root crop harvesting machine has a crop lifting device that has associated therewith downstream in the conveying direction an ascending first sorting stretch with substantially unchangeable working width. The crop is conveyed across a cleaning stretch to a collecting bunker, wherein a conveying run movable along the ascending sorting stretch is guided to a top drop zone where the conveyed material is transferred onto a downstream conveying stretch. The conveying run in the area of an upper unloading end interacts with at least one deflection conveying unit receiving the conveyed crop stream. This upper deflection conveying unit is provided with at least one separating device that, in working position, is moveable into a position of lateral projecting width so as to project at least on one side past the receiving width of the machine; from this position, it is returnable into a travel position for road travel.

  • Patent number: 9452448
Abstract: A separating device for separating a crop from a mixture with admixtures has a drop stage and a conveying device supplying the mixture in a conveyed stream to the drop stage. An air stream is supplied to the drop stage, wherein the mixture is falling in the drop stage and is affected by the air stream, wherein the drop stage effects loosening of the mixture. A retaining element is arranged downstream of the drop stage so as to face the mixture falling in the drop stage. The air stream interacts with the retaining element. Downstream of the retaining element the crop and solid bodies separated from the mixture are transported farther as separated individual parts in substantially opposite conveying directions. A diverting device is provided that can at least partially divert the conveyed stream upstream of the retaining element.
