    Abstract: A load-rated tool tether has a gate and a serrated surface strap integrally formed with the gate and extending from the gate. The gate has a channel therethrough between an entrance and an exit and a locking tang operably interfacing the channel between the entrance and the exit for the feed in and one-way non-releasable engagement of the strap therethrough in use. The tether has a securement ring integrally formed with the gate and extending from between the entrance and the connection edge of the gate at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the channel. When the strap is tightened around a tool, the securement ring is resiliency held by the integrally formed gate secured either side thereof by the strap between the integral connection edge and the entrance in a spaced apart configuration and the undersurface bears tangentially against the tool.

As a result, unscrewing the fastener does not urge the unscrewing of the anchor from the substrate.

    Abstract: A device for more efficient coupling and de-coupling of a hole saw to an arbor. A hole saw has a bottom wall with a central threaded hole. The arbor's clamping device has first and second thread-engaging parts for engaging the internal thread in the hole saw's bottom hole. The thread-engaging parts are moveable with respect to one another perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the hole saw. When the thread-engaging parts are in a first, disengaged position, the clamping device allows retraction from or insertion into the hole saw's bottom hole substantially longitudinally. When the thread-engaging parts are in a second or engaged position having a larger circumference, the clamping device engages the internal thread in the hole saw's bottom hole for clamping the clamping device in the hole. The clamping device used in the hole saw provides a quick-coupling for mounting a hole saw on an arbor.

    Abstract: An improved scoring tool has a uniquely configured tip arranged to be inserted into a cooperative recess provided in a pistol-shaped handle. The handle has an upper tip-holding portion, and a graspable portion extending downwardly away from the tip-holding portion. The front surface of the graspable portion is provided with a plurality of undulations to accommodate the fingers of an operator grasping the handle with a prehensile grip. The improved tip is provided with a sharpened point formed by the mutual intersection of four surfaces. A modified tip is provided with a glass-cutting wheel. The shape of the handle allows the operator to maintain adequate control, while exerting greater downward pressures to more deeply and clearly score sheet material.
