Abstract: The invention relates to an omni-directional ultra-wide band antenna including at least two metallic members (14, 15, 16) provided opposite an earth plane (11) and distributed about a symmetry axis (AA) perpendicular to the earth plane (11) and at the centre of the antenna, characterised in that the metallic members (14-16) each have a narrow quasi punctual geometry at their base that flares along the symmetry axis (BB) of said metallic members (14-16) in the direction of the upper end thereof, and in that said metallic members (14-16) are oriented in a direction extending from a common point (18) of said metallic members and opposite the earth plane (11).
