  • Apparatus and method for projecting lines

    Abstract: A hand tool for projecting a line by directing fluid pressure onto a projectile attached to the line. The hand tool comprises a body having an articulated distal end portion to facilitate access to difficult to reach conduits. An inflatable plug is mounted about the distal end portion for closing the entrance end of a wide inner diameter range of conduits. A barrel-like member can be used in combination with the hand tool for projecting lines between panels or walls of an existing structure.
