Abstract: A gravity-fed, self-regulating system and method to maintain a specific water level wherein fluid flow from a fluid supply tank is controlled by opening and closing an air lock.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a container for cigarette papers and cigarette tips and/or filters and, more particularly, but not exclusively, to a portable container for cigarette papers and cigarette tips and/or filters which enables easy dispensing of the contents.
Abstract: A compact conditioning system for controlling a volume, comprises: (a) at least one light source, said light source being coupled with a replaceable focusing lens; (b) at least one fan; (c) at least one temperature sensor; (d) control circuitry adapted to receive inputs from said sensor(s) and/or from a user, and to operate said light source(s) and/or said fan(s) as a result thereof; and (e) a housing suitable to house said light source, fan and control circuitry and adapted to be positioned at the top of a structural element defining a closed space.
Abstract: A fluid dispensing device using only gravity to provide fluid to plant growing medium, for example soil, to the point of either saturation or field capacity. The fluid dispensing device may comprise a mechanism to cease supply of fluid when a threshold amount of fluid in a plant growing medium is detected. The fluid dispensing device may be used to calculate field capacity of different soils. The invention further discloses a gravity powered device for irrigating an area evenly and at a constant rate of irrigation.
