Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system that has the advantage of being able to carry out different tasks of a conventional production line in a small space and with simple, low-cost elements, since product packages received by means of two packing lines are grouped and deposited so as to form various arrangements, depending on the container being handled at each particular moment. At the same time, the system is capable of receiving platforms or dollies loaded with empty containers that are to be stacked on another platform or dolly while being simultaneously and continuously filled. In addition, the system has the versatility of being able to handle platforms and dollies for mainly two different types of container, which can be accommodated in different configurations, using the same device without modification.

Abstract: A delivery system that includes a surface having a surface upon which a food item is placed. An array of sensors positioned above the surface and which takes multiple readings of the food item on the surface. A processor that analyzes the multiple readings and generates a height profile for the food item and determines a characteristic of the food item based on the height profile, wherein the characteristic is selected from the group consisting of 1) whether the food item is right side up or upside down, 2) whether the food item is misoriented; 3) whether the food item is missing a portion of food; and 4) whether the food item is damaged.

Abstract: A flipping station including a moving surface upon which an upside-down food item is placed and a ramp spaced from the moving surface so that a gap is defined between the moving surface and the ramp. The moving surface is moving at a sufficient speed so that the upside-down food item has sufficient momentum to travel past the gap and land on the ramp. A contact surface that is positioned past the gap at a contact position and is positioned above the ramp so that the upside-down food item is deflected backwards by the contact surface into the gap and the upside-down food item rotates 180° so as to land right-side up on a landing surface located below the ramp.

Abstract: The lift truck automatic guided vehicle (AGV) generally comprises a chassis, a compartment for the attachment of a tower, a counterweight in the rear part, a battery box and power and control boards on opposite sides of the base chassis, a casing and a front lifting system constituted by a support mast, a lifting carriage, a lifting cylinder, a raising carriage, a fork hanger and two front forks. The chassis is supported by two sets of double front wheels, two free wheels in the rear part and a central driving and steered wheel coupled to an electric motor.

Abstract: A vending machine is provided for vending pieces of bread that are toasted on the spot. The vending machine includes a control module; a toaster module; a screen displaying a graphical interface showing information related to the sale of the product; a contactless user interface for selecting the desired type and quantity of product; a storage device for storing the pieces of bread or product for sale; a pair of product feed modules set up to receive product from the storage device and feed a toaster module with the product selected by the user; an exit device allowing the exit of the product piece halves from underneath the toaster module, and a transport devices. The product halves are slid and conveyed to an exit outside the housing of the vending machine so that the user can take the purchased product.

Abstract: Disclosed is a movable ladder formed by a structural element composed of a rear part and two sides, the lower part of the vertical structural elements of the ladder terminating in lateral projections in the form of an inverted “U” that provide the ladder with reliable support on the floor. The ladder is characterised in that it is provided with two collapsible lateral platforms and four wheels that can be raised or lowered to facilitate the movement of the ladder toward the work area.

Abstract: A tortilla conveyor transfer system is configured to transfer product from a tortilla press to an oven. The tortilla press outputs batches of product to a press conveyor driven at a press speed. The oven then receives the batches of product at an oven conveyor driven at an oven speed that is slower than the press speed. The tortilla conveyor transfer system is interposed between the press conveyor and the oven conveyor. The tortilla conveyor transfer system has a first conveyor, a second conveyor, and a controller. The first conveyor is positioned in series with the press conveyor and the second conveyor, and the second conveyor is positioned in series with the first conveyor and the oven conveyor. In operation, the controller controls and varies the speed of the first conveyor and the second conveyor.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a battery bank supply and replacement system in an electric vehicle, particularly for an electric vehicle used for the distribution of commercial goods. The system of the present invention comprises a battery bank mounted in a metal structure that is structurally coupled to a metal mounting structure arranged on the electric vehicle and a handling device consisting of a movable base. The movable base is aligned and secured to the metal mounting structure of the vehicle for removal of the battery bank from the vehicle towards the handling device or the other way round.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an edible product, a laminated dough composition and an edible product are provided. The method includes mixing ingredients including starch, gluten, a plasticizer, fat and leavening into a pastry dough composition. A flavored fat composition is prepared by mixing ingredients comprising fat, at least one flavor additive and at least one filling. The flavored fat composition is then applied to a surface of the pastry dough composition. Both compositions are folded and sheeted to form a laminated dough. The laminated dough is then formed into pieces, which are proofed and then baked. A laminated dough composition, and an edible product itself, is provided that comprises a plurality of layers of a flavored fat interposed between a plurality of layers of a pastry dough, the pastry dough composition comprising starch, gluten, a plasticizer, fat and leavening; the flavored fat composition comprising fat, at least one flavor additive and at least one filling.
