  • System and method for simplifying mobile device account creation and verification

    Abstract: A method is provided for establishing a verified user account record for a user using a device. A text message is received on the user's device addressed by phone number. The text message includes a custom URL. When the user actuates the custom URL from the device, a session is established of a dedicated web page on the user's browser, and the Device ID of the device is passed together with the phone number for storage in a non-transitory record associated with the user.
