    Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for detecting grout compactness in grouted splice sleeve, the apparatus comprises a probe assembly, which comprises at least one of capacitive probe and piezoelectric sensor and is arranged inside the grouted splice sleeve to detect parameters of the sleeve during grouting and curing and a detector, which comprises at least an analysis module that is connected with the probe assembly to obtain the detected parameters and carry out calculation and analysis for the parameters. The probe assembly is arranged inside the grouted splice sleeve and forms a loop with the detector during grouting, such that during the process of grouting, the detected parameters will be changed as the surrounding dielectric changes, therefore, the detector may determine in real time whether the grouted splice sleeve is fully grouted by calculating and analyzing the detected parameters, which achieves a faster and easier grout compactness detection.

    Abstract: Provided is a drilling apparatus, comprising a PHC pipe cased pile having a drilling section for containing fluid and a hammer element arranged inside the cavity of the PHC pipe cased pile which moves along the drilling direction till the bottom of the drilling section. As the hammer element moves along the drilling direction till the bottom of the drilling section, a localized hydraulic force will be induced in the fluid contained in the drilling section of the PHC pipe cased pile by a sharp rise in the fluid pressure in addition to the impact force directly acted on the rock and soil by the hammer element. Under action of the hydraulic force and the impact force, the surrounding soft rock stratum could be crushed and the rock stratum with higher strength is left intact, that is, the drilling apparatus proceeds until harder rock. At this point, concrete casting will bond with the harder rock, resulting in a better bearing capacity of the PHC pipe cased pile foundation.

Concrete streaming is pumped into a hollow passage of a drill stem, then opens the one-way openable sealing cover with a pre-tensioned spring on a reaming drill bit and enters the karst cave to complete pouring of the concrete. When the karst cave is relatively low, low-slump plain concrete mixed with quick-setting agents is injected through a drilling rig and the hollow drill stem to form a concrete pier; when the karst cave is relatively high, the hollow drill stem is sleeved into a thin-walled steel shell, and the thin-walled steel shell is synchronously sunk into the drilled hole while drilling, enters the karst cave and is socketed into a stable rock stratum, then concrete is pumped into the thin-walled steel shell from the bottom of the pile, and finally, a reinforcement cage is inserted to form a cast-in-place pile.
