Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, and a computing device for determining dissemination heat degree of information. The method for determining dissemination heat degree of information includes analyzing N levels of sharing data of specific network information to determine parameters related to each sharing level of the specific network information, where N is a natural number greater than 1; and calculating a dissemination heat degree S of the specific network information based on the parameters related to the sharing of the specific network information. The dissemination heat degree obtained according to the disclosed method, apparatus, and computing device can be used to predict the popular level of the specific network information during the subsequent dissemination process.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, a browser client, and a server for reading web page information by speech. The browser client is installed with a text to speech (TTS) engine. The method includes: sending, by a browser client, a page access request to a server, where the page access request includes a page address and TTS identity information; receiving, by the browser client, response data returned by the server, where the response data includes a TTS standard version number determined by the server according to the TTS identity information, and TTS page data corresponding to the page address; and reading, by the browser client, the TTS page data by speech according to the TTS standard version number by using a TTS engine. In the present disclosure, page information is read by speech by using the TTS engine installed on the browser client.

Abstract: A webpage classification method and apparatus, a computing device and a machine readable storage medium are disclosed. Each corpus word in a corpus is converted into a vector by using a word-to-vector tool word2vec, and therefore a processing process such as comparison between corpus words or similarity analysis is converted into vector calculation, so as to more conveniently implement computer automation, thereby improving webpage classification efficiency. Moreover, corresponding corpus words are screened according to preset classification seed words, and a corpus word unrelated to a webpage type may be removed, thereby improving webpage classification accuracy.

The processor acquires one or more candidate items and correlation indexes thereof from the candidate item database system based on the one or more access items, and generates an item recommendation list, wherein the item recommendation list comprises the one or more candidate items and recommendation weights thereof, and the recommendation weights are determined based on the correlation indexes.

Abstract: A text-to-speech method includes outputting an instruction according to voice information entered by a user; obtaining text information according to the instruction; converting the text information to audio; and playing the audio. According to the embodiments of the present invention, news or other text content in a browser can be played by voice, which liberates hands and eyes of a user. The user can use the browser in some scenarios where the user cannot easily use the browser, such as driving a car, thereby improving user experience.

The picture data transmission method comprises: recoding a first picture to be transmitted, by a picture data sending terminal, to obtain a second picture, wherein the file size of the second picture is smaller than that of the first picture, and a quality difference between the second picture and the first picture is less than a pre-set threshold; and selecting one of the first picture and the second picture according to quality values of the first picture and the second picture and sending the selected picture to a picture data receiving terminal.
