Abstract: A gate configured to be shipped in a compact disassembled state and assembled in situ into a structurally rigid frame around an area is provided. In one embodiment, the gate includes first and second vertical support posts, a lower horizontal support, a cross-brace, first and second upper vertical posts, a screen, first and second elbow joints, and first and second Tee joints. The elbow joints are configured to couple the vertical support posts to the lower horizontal support. The Tee joints are configured to couple the vertical support posts, the upper vertical posts, and the cross-brace together. The screen is configured to be coupled to the vertical support posts, the upper vertical posts, and the lower horizontal support post. The cross-brace is configured to extend between the first and second vertical support posts at a distance below the upper end of the screen and rearwardly away from the screen.

Abstract: A fence includes a plurality of bases, each base having a body having a floor, a top wall, side walls and end walls defining an interior chamber; a first projection extending from one of the end walls and having a top wall; and a second projection extending from another one of the end walls and having a bottom wall; wherein the bottom wall of the second projection and the top wall of the first projection are both configured to receive a pole and wherein the first projection of a first base of the bases can overlap the second projection of a second base of the bases when the floor of the first and second bases are resting on a common surface. The fence further includes a plurality of poles, each inserted into and maintained erect by one of the bases; and a mesh fencing material tensioned between the poles.

Abstract: A lightweight fence or gate pole is provided having a lock assembly including a base attached to the lightweight pole, a support member extending from the base, a connector extending from the support member, the connector having a snap button connected thereto and a screw attached to the connector. The lock assembly has a locked position when a screw head is adjacent to an outer surface of the lightweight pole and the lock assembly has an unlocked position wherein the screw head is farther away from the outer surface of the lightweight pole than in the locked position.
