In order to allow a faster replacement and fixing of the ironing cloth, the ironing table comprises a groove or slot at a first side thereof for engaging a first lateral edge of the ironing cloth and a Velcro fastening at the opposite second side of the ironing table for attaching the opposite second edge of the ironing cloth.
