Abstract: The invention relates to a protective garment made of water-tight and air-tight outer cloth formed by superimposing an external layer of a film of polyvinyl chloride and an internal layer of woven cloth, the film and the woven cloth being bonded together. At least one section of the garment is lined internally by a lining made with cloth and including a foam sheet extending in the lining, the cloth of the lining being bonded at least on its periphery to the woven section of the external cloth in bonding zones, the foam sheet being arranged substantially free between the cloth of the lining and the external cloth, the foam sheet being integral with the external cloth and/or with the cloth of the lining at least towards its upper section in order to be held and not fall in the lining. The garment can be a vest, a pair of trousers or an apron.
Abstract: A marine protection jacket comprising two front flaps, a fastener on the front, which jacket can be worn over an inflatable lifejacket comprising two lungs arranged on the lateral and front portions of the user's thorax. Both front flaps are interconnected via a piece of fabric forming bellows, whereas the jacket must be slipped on as a jumper, the bellows are arranged inwardly with respect to the fastener and the fastener comprises two fastening members, the first member showing a resistance to forced opening of the flaps that is lower than that of the second member, the first fastening member being arranged toward the upper portion of the fastener and the second fastening member being arranged toward the lower portion of the fastener, the second fastening member enabling to close the jacket up to height corresponding substantially to the lower extremity of the lifejacket in order to avoid compression of the user when the lifejacket is inflated.
Abstract: The safety straps for high trousers integrates a life jacket, wherein the life jacket is integral with a belt by at least one belt fastener, the trousers comprise at least one front flap and are held in position by the straps. The straps are U-shaped and include a cover and the life jacket enveloped between an internal layer and an external layer of the cover. The straps are fixed toward the top of the flap by two removable antero-lateral fasteners connected on the external layer of the cover at a distance from the extremities of both branches of the U. The straps at the rear are fixed toward the top of the trousers by at least one removable postero-median fastener connected to the base of the U provided on the rear and lateral sections of the user's neck. The trousers include at the waist loops intended for accommodating the belt.
Abstract: Safety Trousers comprising two legs linked by a crotch. The trousers are chest high and include an upper chest part and a back part linked by adjustable shoulder straps. The safety trousers also include a strap, permanently affixed to the sides and back of the trousers but free from the sides to the front. The free ends of the straps are designed to be retained by a flap which serves to nonpermanently affix the strap in a configuration reminiscent of a belt. A tether is designed to be attached to the free ends of the strap. In the event of a dynamic force that would lift a wearer off his feet, the flaps would release and the dynamic force would act upon the individual's underarm region. This results in the individual remaining in an upright and relatively safe condition. The invention is especially suitable for the sailing and boating industry.
