Abstract: An air conditioner including a compressor including a discharge side; an outdoor heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with outdoor air; a base arranged to support the compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger; a four-way valve arranged between the discharge side of the compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger; a defrost pipe arranged at the base and configured to receive refrigerant discharged from the compressor to supply heat of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to the base; and a defrost valve arranged on the defrost pipe and configured to adjust a flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through the defrost pipe.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device includes sequentially stacking a source sacrificial layer, an upper protective layer, and an etch stop layer, which are formed of different materials from each other, over a substrate, alternately stacking interlayer dielectric layers and gate sacrificial layers over the etch stop layer, forming a first slit which penetrates the interlayer dielectric layers and the gate sacrificial layers, wherein a bottom surface of the first slit is disposed in the etch stop layer, replacing the gate sacrificial layers with gate conductive patterns through the first slit, forming a second slit which extends from the first slit through the etch stop layer and the upper protective layer to the source sacrificial layer, and replacing the source sacrificial layer with a first source layer through the second slit.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a high-intensity focused ultrasound operation device including a handle part for manipulation by an operator, an insertion part provided at the front end of the handle part and inserted into a vagina during operation, an ultrasound treatment transducer provided to the insertion part to generate high-intensity focused ultrasound, a driver for driving the ultrasound treatment transducer, and a controller for controlling the driver. The high-intensity focused ultrasound operation device may be utilized for a variety of operations such as beauty treatment, adipolysis, gynecological disease treatment, etc.
Abstract: Provided is an image sensor having a depth sensor. The image sensor includes a substrate including a visible light region and a non-visible light region, a first well and a second well having a first conductivity type and in the non-visible light perception region, and a first gate and a second gate configured to receive voltages of opposite phases, respectively, and apply voltages to the first well and the second well, respectively.

Abstract: Provided herein is a method of cultivating a grafted cactus (Gymnocalycium mihanovichii) cultivar “Yellow Top” including the steps of: a) selecting a cross combination between “GG02451” and “GG205736”; b) crossing the combination, harvesting cactus fruits after a mature stage has been passed, disinfecting the cactus fruits, selecting and sterilizing seeds contained in the cactus fruits, and sowing the seeds; c) obtaining germinated seedlings; d) selecting only colored seedlings from the germinated seedlings; e) first-grafting the selected colored seedlings onto small virus-free Hylocereus trigonus in test tubes; and f) covering light-shielding film on the cultured seedlings to harden the seedlings and secondarily grafting only the seedlings onto Hylocereus trigonus.
