Abstract: A size enhancing jewelry setting for a precious stone includes a setting body with a holding portion that is configured to engage and hold the precious stone affixed to the setting body. A faceted plate is supported by the setting body. The faceted plate has a central opening for the passage of a pavilion region of the precious stone therethrough, an upward facing reflecting surface that partially extends below a girdle of the precious stone and which faces a portion of the pavilion region of the precious stone in spaced relationship thereto, and a portion that protrudes peripherally beyond the girdle of the precious stone. The faceted plate is being configured to reflect light that emanates from the pavilion of the precious stone outwardly and upwardly, the reflected light surrounding and extending beyond the precious stone to produce a visual effect of the precious stone being larger in a peripheral dimension thereof than it actually is.
Abstract: A bezel setting comprises: a bezel body having a circumscribing wall with a given body thickness, an upper surface sized to enable a corresponding pavilion surface of a precious stone to rest thereon, and a bendable lip substantially surrounding the upper surface of the bezel body, the lip having an interior surface shaped to be substantially matched and complementary to an exterior surface defining a girdle surface of the precious stone, and the lip has a thickness dimension that is substantially smaller than said body thickness of said bezel body. The lip is made of a material that is compressible and bendable so it can be bent over to tightly wrap the girdle and slightly cover a crown region of the precious stone.
Abstract: A jewelry setting has a magnifying lens in a lens holder for supporting the magnifying lens. A precious stone arrangement is supported by a precious stone setting for supporting the precious stone arrangement below the magnifying lens, at such position relative to the magnifying lens as to produce a magnified image of the precious stone arrangement at a top surface of the magnifying lens. A mechanical coupling is configured to couple the precious stone setting to the lens holder. The setting can be implemented as any type of jewelry item, e.g. a finger ring, a necklace, a pendant and the like.
