Abstract: Provided are a pressure sensor device and an emergency informing apparatus. The pressure sensor device includes a portable frame including a concave portion, a connector connected to the frame across the concave portion, a sensor disposed side by side with the connector and connected to the frame across the concave portion, a guard disposed to cover the connector and the sensor and extending in a direction perpendicular to a heading direction of the connector on a plane where the connector and the sensor are disposed, and a pressing unit disposed in the guard unit to cover the sensor and applying a pressure to the sensor.
Abstract: Disclosed is a communication protocol for collecting data from household medical devices, the protocol including the steps of: transmitting an initialization packet in order to detect a household medical device capable of communication, and receiving a reply packet including device type/id information from the device; asking the device for a number of stored data items, and receiving a reply; and asking the device for measurement data, and receiving at least one data item from the device, wherein each of the packets for the communication includes a plurality of fields including start code, size, command, device type, device id, and checksum.
Abstract: Disclosed is an on-line healthcare system using a domestic medical device and a method thereof. The on-line healthcare system comprises a portable measurement unit for performing a biological measurement for diagnosing a user's health and converting measured data so as to generate biological measurement information data and/or measurement information data including a part of the biological measurement data; and a cradle connected to the portable measurement unit so as to automatically transmit/receive the measurement information data to/from the portable measurement unit by means of a program accommodated therein. The on-line healthcare system is economical because the on-line healthcare system does not require an additional personal computer in order to provide tele-healthcare services. Also, the on-line healthcare system does not require additional handling in order to transfer data, so that usage of the on-line healthcare system is simple.
