The circuit unit includes a control circuit connected electrically to an external power source, the lighting unit and the loudspeaker unit so as to control activation thereof in response to operation of an operating unit mounted on the housing unit. When a portable rechargeable audio playback device is coupled electrically to the audio reproduction device assembly via a transmission port, the control circuit receives audio signals from the audio playback device via the transmission port, enables the loudspeaker unit to reproduce the audio signals, and enables a charging circuit to charge the audio playback device via the transmission port.

Abstract: An illumination device assembly includes: a circuit unit disposed in a hollow base and including a control circuit connected electrically to a lighting unit and a loudspeaker unit so as to control activation thereof in response to operation of an operating unit mounted on the base; and a power module connected electrically to the control circuit and connected electrically to an external power source so as to supply electric power to the control circuit. When a portable rechargeable audio playback device is coupled electrically to the illumination device assembly via a transmission unit, the control circuit receives audio signals from the audio playback device via the transmission unit, enables the loudspeaker unit to reproduce the audio signals, and enables a charging circuit to charge the audio playback device via the transmission unit.

Abstract: A foldable chair includes a frame body having a looped seat frame, and a fabric sheet having a rounded marginal portion. The marginal portion includes a plurality of angularly spaced-apart flaps, each having a sleeve section and a string inserted into the sleeve section. A releasable fastening unit is provided to connect a first end of the string of each flap to a second end of the string of an adjacent one of the flaps. The flaps are folded over the seat frame. The strings of the flaps form a loop after the first ends of the strings of the flaps are respectively connected to the second ends of the strings of the flaps. The loop has a cross section smaller than that of the seat frame.

Abstract: A foldable furniture device includes a looped frame, two first leg sections, and two second leg sections connected pivotally and respectively to the first leg sections so as to move between folded and unfolded states. Two sleeve units are sleeved slidably and respectively on the first leg sections, and each includes a positioning hole. Each sleeve unit slides toward and away from top ends of the first leg sections in the unfolded and folded states, respectively. Two locking units are inserted respectively into the first leg sections, and each includes a resilient positioning member that extends through a through hole in the corresponding first leg section to engage the positioning hole when the first and second leg sections are pivoted to the unfolded state so as to lock each sleeve unit against sliding movement.

Abstract: A modular chair assembly includes a support frame, a leg frame, a link unit, and a seat mounted on the support frame. The support frame includes a plurality of curved supporting tubes, each of which has opposite first and second ends. The first end of each supporting tube is connected detachably to the second end of an adjacent supporting tube. The leg frame supports the support frame on a support surface, and includes a plurality of leg tubes. The link unit detachably connects one end of each leg tube to the first and second ends of two adjacent ones of the supporting tubes.

Abstract: A seat device for a chair includes at least two outer sheet layers made of a stretchable elastic textile material, and an inner sheet layer of a textile material sandwiched by the outer sheet layers. The inner sheet layer has a second marginal part surrounding substantially an entire area thereof and secured to first marginal parts of the outer sheet layers. An attachment member is associated with the first and second marginal parts and is adapted to be mounted on the chair. The entire area of the inner sheet layer is larger than that of a respective outer sheet layer so that the inner sheet layer creases when the outer sheet layers lay flat. The inner and outer sheet layers form a concaved configuration when a pressure is exerted on the inner and outer sheet layers along a direction transverse to the same.

Abstract: A lampshade includes first and second annular members, a plurality of spaced-apart flexible supporting rods disposed between the first and second annular members, and a flexible cover sheet body covering the supporting rods. Each supporting rod has first and second ends connected respectively to the first and second annular members. The supporting rods are curved to bulge outwardly to a first position. The first and second annular members are rotatable in opposite directions so as to twist simultaneously the supporting rods to a second position, and are compressible to move toward each other to fold the supporting rods from the second to a third position. The supporting rods are resilient to restore from the third to the first position when the first and second annular members are pulled apart from each other.

Abstract: A furniture device includes first and second leg frames pivotally connected to a main frame, and a slide rod inserted into and movable within the second leg frame. The second leg frame includes an elongate slot having first and second ends respectively proximate to and distal from the top end of the second leg frame. A securing unit has a fastening element extending through the slot and the slide rod and fixed to the main frame, and is operable to slide the fastening element to the first and second ends of the slot in unfolded and folded states of the furniture device, respectively. A locking unit is provided to lock the slide rod against movement when the fastening element moves to the first end of the slot.

An insulated conductive cord member has a first end portion connected electrically to the socket member, and a second end portion that extends into the closed accommodating space via the cord hole in the partition plate.
