  • Patent number: 11068843
Abstract: The inventory management system (“the system”) includes a series of bar codes and a bar code reader. The bar codes are placed around the inventory storage area on or near containers which store inventory items. The bar codes identify the contents of the container. The system includes a bar code reader and an augmented reality viewing device. The system includes a processor which stores instructions for identifying the bar codes associated with each of the inventory items in an order. When the bar code reader scans a bar code associated with an item in the order, the augmented reality viewing device emits a cue that indicates the item should be picked. The containers may be connected to sensors which detect when an item has been removed and which transmit the sensor data to a processor. The processor may include instructions for processing the sensor data to maintain a current inventory.

  • Publication number: 20210215176
Abstract: A mounting system using a force indicator is disclosed. A screw is used to mount a bracket to a structure. While the screw is being threaded into the structure, the force indicator deforms to provides a visual indication when the screw is tight enough to secure the bracket to the structure without damaging the structure or mounting components. Additionally, a washer may be used with the mounting system. The force indicator can be cylinder shaped with a hole for the screw to pass through. The force indicator can extrude radially as it deforms in order to provide the visual indication.

  • Patent number: 11002064
Abstract: A system for reversibly dividing a space is disclosed. A first panel consists of a first vertical member and a first horizontal member attached perpendicular to a bottom end of the first vertical member and extends away from the first vertical member towards a second panel. The second panel consists of a second vertical member and a second horizontal member attached perpendicular to a top end of the second vertical member and extends away from the second vertical member towards the first panel. The first and second panel can be stored in an overhead position. The space is reversibly divided when the first panel and the second panel are lowered. The first panel is lowered such that the first panel forms a top portion of a wall. The second panel is lowered until the second horizontal member rests on the first horizontal member, forming a bottom portion of the wall.

  • Patent number: 10995537
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for a frame with a slidable segment are disclosed. The slidable segment is slidably mounted within the frame. A first motor is coupled to the slidable segment. The first motor has a first gear affixed to and driven by the first motor. A first gear track may be mounted to a first horizontal member of the frame, wherein teeth of the first gear align with tooth spaces of the first gear track. Rotating the first gear in a first rotational direction causes the first gear to pull the slidable segment in a first linear direction as the first gear walks along the first gear track. Rotating the first gear in a second rotational direction causes the first gear to pull the slidable segment in a second linear direction as the first gear walks along the first gear track.

  • Patent number: 10994715
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for determining a trailer brake gain signal for trailer brakes on a trailer being towed by a vehicle, and applying brakes to the trailer is disclosed. A method includes: providing predetermined calibration settings relating motor drive force to motor speed for a vehicle travelling at various speeds and providing accelerometer data. The method then determines that one or more vehicle performance parameters fall within threshold ranges and then determines both the vehicle weight and the trailer weight. The brake gain signal is determined based on the ratio of the current trailer weight and the original trailer weight. The brake gain signal is then transmitted to a trailer brake controller that applies trailer brakes according to the brake gain signal.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for a frame with a slidable segment are disclosed. The slidable segment is slidably mounted within the frame. A first motor is coupled to the slidable segment. A first pulley is affixed to and driven by the first motor. A first end of a first wire is affixed to a first vertical member of the frame. A second end of the first wire is affixed to a second vertical member of the frame. The first wire wraps around the first pulley at least once. Driving the first pulley in a first direction causes the first pulley to pull on the first vertical member such that the slidable segment slides towards the first vertical member. Driving the first pulley in a second direction causes the first pulley to pull on the second vertical member such that the slidable segment slides towards the second vertical member.

  • Patent number: 10997547
Abstract: There is disclosed a system and method for detecting potentially unauthorized access to an enclosure. The system and method use an input device, wherein the input device includes a user interface comprising a communication tilt plate with a front side and a back side. The front side comprising an outer touch surface and the back side includes electronic components mounted thereon. The back side also includes a raised center pivot and a plurality of spring loaded switches mounted thereon disposed around the periphery of the back side of the tilt plate. In this way, tilting the communication tilt plate by pressing proximate the periphery of the outer touch surface activates one or more of the spring-loaded switches mounted on the back side of the tilt plate and thereby transmit an access code to a control module. The system and method further include detecting movement of an access barrier of an enclosure and detecting whether a motor and or the access code was used to move the access barrier.
