    Abstract: A compact, decorative and multi-functional portable power charger and cable apparatus includes a portable charger unit with a housing where the housing encloses an internal rechargeable battery unit for connecting to and recharging one or more electronic devices, and a charging cable extending from the charger housing and in operative communication with the rechargeable battery. At least the charger housing is surrounded by an aesthetic feature, which can comprise a tasseled fitting, a puffball, a luggage tag, or a doll or teddy bear to hide the charger unit. Electrical fittings including power connection interfaces for connecting the charger and cable apparatus with at least one electronic device, or an external power source, or both, can be provided on the charging cable and also hidden by the aesthetic feature. The power charger and cable apparatus can be attached to a fashion accessory, such as a purse, a bag, luggage or clothing.

A processing unit controls operation of the charger unit for wireless and direct charging.

The charger also includes at least one power input connection interface for recharging the internal battery from an external power source, including an AC wall plug interface and a DC car charger interface, each connected to the charger housing and movable between a retracted, storage position and an extended use position. The power output connector cables can also be stored within storage cavities formed in the charger housing when not in use and extended therefrom for connection with electronic devices in need of recharging. The power connection ports can act as power inputs, power outputs, or both.

The ignition power outlet comprises a positive power socket, a negative power socket, a positive sensing socket and a negative sensing socket. The sensing sockets are electrically isolated from the power sockets, and the microcontroller senses voltage across the sensing sockets and is configured to interrupt the operative electrical connection of the jump start circuit to the ignition power outlet until proper voltage is sensed across the sensing sockets.

    Abstract: A portable power charger is provided for wirelessly charging an electronic device from a rechargeable battery internally disposed within the charger. An attachment system is also provided for connecting the electronic device to the portable charger so that the respective wireless transmission components therein are properly aligned for optimal and efficient wireless charging. The alignment system can comprise an arrangement of magnets on each of the portable charger and the electronic device, whereby said magnets are geometrically arrangement is spaced apart relationship to one another. The magnetic arrays on each of the portable charger and the electronic device are complementary to ensure the proper positioning of one relative to the other. The electronic device may alternatively use an attachment ship secured thereto with a magnet array complementing the arrangement on the portable charger, or a protective case with a built in magnetic arrangement at a predetermined location and orientation.

A power connection port is provided in the charger unit in operative communication with the internal battery. The connection port may be disposed within the first cavity for engagement with the first connection interface of the charging cable. The second end of the charging cable may be removed from its storage cavity and flexed out and away from the charger housing for engagement with a portable electronic device or an external power source while the first end remains in engagement with the power connection port.

The light bulb is also equipped with a motion sensor for turning on the light bulb when movement is detected; a timer for turning off the light bulb after a preset time period, and an ambient light sensor for adjusting the intensity of the light bulb depending on ambient light levels, with all of which the operation of the light bulb can be controlled so as to conserve power, to preserve battery life so it is available when needed in emergency situations, and to prolong the life of the bulb.

In alternate embodiments, mounting means, such as a clip, can be provided at the end of the support member for holding the assembly in place.
