    Abstract: A springy seat recliner assembly for a bicycle comprises three sections, namely a seat post member (20) to be entered and clamped in a seat tube, further a movable intermediate section (3, 4), and a seat attachment part (2) having attachment details for a conventional saddle. The intermediate section comprises substantially parallel or the seat post member (20) and on the seat attachment part (2), as well as a springing mechanism mounted in between two diagonally placed bearings (23, 28) to push the seat attachment part (2) upwards. When the rear wheel receives a shock, a very good compensating cushioning movement directed obliquely downwards and backwards is obtained.
