Patents Assigned to HAMAD MEDICAL CORPORATION
  • Patent number: 11957924
Abstract: An airway cardioverter-defibrillating system comprises a conductive Nano-balloon inserted to an airway tube. The airway cardioverter-defibrillating system functions either with unipolar or bipolar circuit configuration. The system is operatively arranged to supply safe continuous defibrillation pulses directly to the heart with simultaneous continuous external cardiac massage. The system also provides ventilation.

  • Patent number: 11872352
Abstract: The presently described catheter is an improved multi-function hypospadias catheter adapted to be urethrally inserted and secured within a patient's bladder using an attached internal crescent shaped retention balloon. The inverted crescent configuration of the balloon reduces the contact surface area between the balloon and a patient's bladder wall to reduce bladder spasms. The catheter is removed from the patient (when needed) via deflation of the crescent shaped balloon, which deflates completely so as to not contact a patient's urethra during insertion and removal of the catheter. The catheter includes a double lumen with a one-way flow valve. One lumen provides a passageway to drain urine from a patient's bladder. The second lumen provides a passageway to inflate and deflate the crescent shaped retention balloon.

  • Publication number: 20190232006
Abstract: The endotracheal tube system (10) includes an endotracheal tube (12), an auxiliary sterilizing tube (20), and a sterilizing agent source (28) for sterilization of the endotracheal tube (12) while it is in use. The endotracheal tube (12) is an elongated, hollow tube having a distal end (14) and a proximal end (16). An inflatable cuff (18) is disposed on the elongated hollow tube (12), adjacent the distal end (14). The sterilizing tube (20) has a closed distal end (24) and an open proximal end (22). The closed distal end (24) is secured to the elongated hollow tube (12) adjacent the inflatable cuff (18), and a plurality of pores (26) are formed through at least a portion of the sterilizing tube (20). The sterilizing agent source (28) injects chlorhexidine into the sterilizing tube (20), which is distributed to the elongated hollow tube (12) through pores (26).

Abstract: The enteral feeding tube (100) with an inflatable cuff includes a mother tube (110) having a proximal end (112a) and an opposing distal end (112b) and a lumen extending therebetween, an inflatable cuff (115) disposed at the distal end (112a) of the mother tube (110), and a secondary tube (120) having a proximal end (122a) and an opposing distal end (112b) and a lumen extending therebetween. The enteral feeding tube (110) can be inserted into a patient's intestine through the mouth or nose of the patient. The inflatable cuff (115) can be inflated to engage and seal the pylorus of the patient's stomach, so that the distal end (122b) of the secondary tube (120) may extend into the jejunum to permit delivery of food thereto.
