  • Publication number: 20090062098
Abstract: It is desired to provide a creasing device of which the distances between rollers of a plurality of creasing units are individually adjustable. A plurality of creasing units 40 each comprising a female creasing roll 41 and a male creasing roll 42 provided thereunder are provided so as to be positionable in a direction perpendicular to the feed direction of a corrugated sheet S0. As many roller arms 43 as the creasing units 40 are provided so as to be pivotable about a common first drive shaft 31. Each roller arm 43 rotatably supports one of the male creasing rolls 42. By pivoting each roller arm 43 with a pivoting means 45, the male creasing roll 42 is moved relative to the corresponding female creasing roll 41, thereby adjusting the distance between the rolls.

  • Patent number: 7455401
Abstract: A line dot recorder which prevents the throughput (print time per sheet) from lowering (time lengthens) in multi-pass dot recording in a predetermined print area on the printing medium being moved by a rotary drum, thereby forms high-quality images efficiently on a plurality of printing papers. The line dot recorder A includes a nozzle head 1 as a recording head having recording elements in the form of a plurality of ink orifices (nozzles) of an inkjet system, a rotary drum 2 having its outer periphery close to the recording head, a paper feed means 3 for supplying paper to the drum, a mounting/holding means 4 for mounting four papers on the drum, and a paper delivery means 5 for delivering paper, and can form high-quality images while eliminating the lowering of throughput by dot recording by a 4-pass multi-pass system in the sub-scanning direction while rotating the drum at quadruple speed and forming images by four rotations of the drum.

  • Publication number: 20080098910
Abstract: An inkjet printing press is provided which can hold sheets extremely stably. An inkjet head 3 is provided at the outer periphery of a printing drum 1 rotated in one direction. The printing drum 1 is provided with holding claws 15 which are opened and closed to hold the leading end of the sheet S and clamps 21 which can be opened and closed for clamping the trailing end of the sheet S. When the clamps 21 are moved from their open position to closed position, the clamps 21 are moved backward with respect to the rotating direction of the printing drum 1 to impart a tensile force to the trailing end of the sheet S and tighten the sheet so that the trailing end of the sheet is held by a clamp 21 with the sheet in its tight state. Also, the clamp 21 is brought into contact with the periphery of the printing drum 1 by an attracting means to assure the holding of the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5263413
Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technical field of synchronously controlling the phase relationship between a plurality of printing rolls in a corrugated board printing press. The object of this invention is to realize synchronous phase control at low cost and with high precision by software. In this invention, a speed command inputted is converted to a digital value at regular intervals to integrate the digital value, the revolution speed of each of the printing rolls is also integrated, and any deviation between these integrated values is subjected to PI operation, thereby separately correcting the revolution speed commands given to drive motors on the basis of their corresponding results of the PI operation. At this time, when the results of the operation in the course of the integrating the speed command and the individual printing rolls exceed the highest value, their values separately return to 0 to continue the operation.

  • Patent number: 5059275
Abstract: A paper feed preparatory is provided for connecting the end of a web of paper drawn out from a paper roll mounted in a paper supply unit to a plate-shaped leader adapted to be moved from the paper supply unit along one side of a paper feed path. It includes a suction conveyor for attracting and feeding the web of paper in one direction, and a paper cutter adapted to move transversely of the web of paper while the paper is being fed longitudinally to cut it obliquely. A tape applicator is provided over the belt conveyor so as to be movable toward and away from the top of the suction conveyor. It has a tape reel carrying a roll of adhesive tape and a presser member for sticking the end of the adhesive tape to the end of the paper along one side thereof with the leader sandwiched therebetween to connect them together.
