    Abstract: A fluid recovery system for a laundry system (e.g., of a spacecraft) can include a main line having an inlet configured to fluidly communicate with a washing volume within an agitation chamber to receive washing fluid from the agitation chamber, a vacuum source in fluid communication with the main line to provide a partial vacuum to the inlet to cause washing fluid in the washing volume to at least partially evaporate, and a condenser disposed on the main line downstream of inlet. The condenser can be configured to receive evaporated washing fluid and to condense water in the evaporated washing fluid. The system can include a separator downstream of the condenser configured to separate water and laundry effluent gas, wherein the separator includes a water recovery output configured to output water for reuse.
