  • Patent number: 11272807
Abstract: A warming apparatus for warming contents of a foodstuff container includes an enclosure defining an interior space for receiving the foodstuff container and a reservoir separate from the interior space for receiving a warming liquid. A heating element is disposed within the enclosure for warming the warming liquid within the reservoir. A conduit is configured to extend between the interior space and the reservoir so that the reservoir is in fluid communication with the interior space. The heating element is adapted to move the warming liquid from the reservoir through the conduit into the interior space as the warming liquid within the reservoir is warmed.

  • Patent number: 10881228
Abstract: A drinking cup having a receptacle with an open end and a lid assembly configured for releasable engagement with the receptacle over the open end. A lid assembly wall has an inner surface and an inner ring extending radially inward therefrom. The inner ring defines a plurality of fluid passages. A seal assembly is configured to be retained by the inner ring, with the seal assembly being resiliently deformable between a sealed configuration and an unsealed configuration. In the sealed configuration, the upper lip sealingly engages the inner surface and fluid is prevented from flowing through a lid assembly volume defined between the lid assembly and the seal assembly. In the open configuration fluid is permitted to flow from the receptacle, through the plurality of fluid passages, and between a gap defined by a portion of the seal lip and a corresponding portion of the sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 10750902
Abstract: In a warming apparatus for warming the contents of a foodstuff container, a barrier member is disposed at least in part within the interior space of a housing of the apparatus and includes a generally tubular barrier wall extending longitudinally within the housing and defining a warming compartment therein. The barrier wall has a lower end and an open upper end accessible through an open upper end of the housing for receiving the foodstuff container into the warming compartment. The barrier wall is resiliently flexible at least transversely of the barrier member. A reservoir is disposed in the housing for containing a warming liquid. A heating unit is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The heating unit is operable to receive warming liquid from the reservoir and heat the warming liquid for supplying heated warming liquid into the warming compartment to warm the contents of the foodstuff container.

  • Patent number: 10433665
Abstract: A valve assembly for a leak resistance drinking cup is selectively configurable between a sealed position and an unsealed position. The valve assembly includes a plug having an inner surface, an outer surface, and an opening extending through the plug from the outer surface to the inner surface. An amount of vacuum acting on the outer surface of the plug needed to move the valve assembly from the sealed position to the unsealed position is less than the amount of internal pressure acting on the inner surface of the plug needed to move the valve assembly from the sealed position to the unsealed position.

  • Patent number: 10383795
Abstract: A feeding assembly generally comprises a container having an open top and defining a liquid chamber therein for holding a liquid. A collar assembly defines a closure for the open top of the container upon assembly with the container. The collar assembly includes a collar releasably securable to the container and a nipple coupled to the collar and having an opening through which liquid exits the feeding assembly during feeding. A vent assembly is positionable at least in part on the open top of the container and is configured to facilitate venting of the container to atmosphere as liquid exits the feeding assembly during feeding. The vent assembly is disposed intermediate the container and the nipple and has a vent tube through which air is able to flow from external of the feeding assembly to the container during feeding.

  • Patent number: 10334941
Abstract: A bottle brush includes a handle and a brush head connected to the handle. The brush head has a longitudinal axis and further includes a barrel having a sidewall substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. A first row of bristles extends from the sidewall at least in part transversely from the barrel to define a first bristle reach. At least two second rows of bristles extend from the sidewall at least in part transversely from the barrel to define a second bristle reach different from the first bristle reach. The at least two second rows of bristles may be spaced longitudinally from each other with the first row of bristles being longitudinally intermediate to the second rows of bristles.

  • Patent number: 10213034
Abstract: A lid assembly includes a closure member and a valve assembly. The closure member has a socket in fluid communication with a liquid passageway. The socket has a wall with a cutout therein. The valve assembly includes a plug adapted for insertion into the socket to form a seal between the socket and the plug. The plug has a base, a side wall, and an interior chamber cooperatively defined by the base and the side wall. A portion of the side wall of the plug with a minimum thickness is disposed adjacent the cutout when the plug is inserted into the socket. The seal formed between the plug and socket is selectively moveable from a sealed configuration to an unsealed configuration by vacuum pressure being applied to the interior chamber of the plug.

  • Patent number: 10166172
Abstract: A bottle assembly includes a container and a vent assembly positionable at least in part of a rim of the container. A collar assembly generally defines a closure for the container and is releasably engaged with a neck of the container. The collar assembly and the vent assembly are configured relative to one another to permit selective configuration between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the collar assembly urges the vent assembly onto the rim of the container such that at least a majority of a cross-section of a lateral vent of the vent assembly is disposed below the rim. In the second configuration, in which the vent assembly is omitted from the bottle assembly, the collar assembly substantially sealingly engages the rim of the container.
