Abstract: The invention provides a tooth coating composition for beauty and appearance and prevention of dental caries and excellent in the quick drying property, durability, color tone, luster, and removal easiness by using shellac and rosin as main components and a pigment, a pigment dispersant, a dye, an efficacious component having anti-dental caries function, an anti-bacterial agent, a tackifier, a luster reflecting material, a bleaching agent, and a flavor as auxiliary components.

Abstract: A tooth coating composition comprises a component A including a reactive metallic oxide; and a component B of water, which are mixed with each other when using the tooth coating composition, wherein at least one of the component A and the component B comprises a polycarboxylic acids, a reaction retarder and a coating film-softening agent. Specifically, the reactive metallic oxide may be zinc oxide or the like, the polycarboxylic acid may be polyacrylic acid or the like, the reaction retarder may be calcium hydrogen phosphate or the like, and the coating film-softening agent may be polymethyl methacrylate or the like. The coated film formed from the tooth coating composition has a color approximate to the color of natural teeth, and causes little irritation to mouths. In addition, the coating film has high durability and easy removability after use, so that it can be easily used by ordinary consumers.

Abstract: A tooth coating composition contains shellac, solvent for the shellac, and mica titanium as the main constituents. The coating provided on teeth with such composition is excellent in its drying property, durability, color tone, and easiness of removal thereof. The content of the shellac in the whole composition is preferably from 6 to 12% by weight and the content of the mica titanium is preferably from 3.5 to 16% by weight.

Abstract: The present invention provides a teeth-coating liquid comprising a color pigment represented by titanium oxide and a pearl pigment or an extender pigment represented by tricalcium phosphate, dispersed singly or in combination thereof in an alcohol series solvent, mainly ethanol with an N-methacryloylethyl-N,N-dimethylammonium..alpha.-N-methylcarboxybetaine.bu tyl methacrylate copolymer, and an applicator for the coating liquid described above.This teeth-coating liquid provides excellent dispersion stability, gloss, coating property and sticking performance by using the N-methacryloylethyl-N,N-dimethylammonium..alpha.-N-methylcarboxybetaine.bu tyl methacrylate copolymer singly or in combination with a shellac and a vinyl acetate resin.
